Joe McCarthy was right.
I would bet that there are far more Chinese spies than Russian ones.
How did these Russian spies “fool the world”? What did they accomplish? What was their message? Who are they?
The tone of this article makes me laugh, as if the American government led by the Clinton/Obama/Biden axis of evil are the good guys. After seeing how utterly corrupt and treacherous the FBI, CIA, DHS (CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post) have become, who needs to fear foreign spies?
Funny:
Why am I left wondering whether the FBI didn’t adopt this very same policy themselves years/decades ago to integrate into the bowels of the patriot movement?
They are called democRATs and many are so delusional that they don’t even realize they are communist threats to our country.
Back in the days when the FBI spied on bad guys instead of opponents of the Democrat Party . . .
All they are missing is the red star. Why didn't they just stick with the original US WWII style?
Wasn’t there a movie about Russians spies in the 50s passing as Americans.
Having jobs and raising families.
Not to forget Chinese spies who masquerade as college professors, grad students and tech employees. Chinese espionage imo is a far bigger threat.
I’ve always suspected that Nellie Ohr was a Russian spy considering her history of studying in Russia and obtaining a short wave radio and license.
We’re doomed....as a nation. Mystery Babylon.
On the UK perspective of this same “sleepers” is an excellent from a true story- US television version of “Pack of Lies” with Alan Bates and the sadly now ill with MS Terri Garr, and Ellen Burstyn -— in the real life story of the spy couple in the UK-— Morris and Lona Cohen.

......Russian spies active in the US during the 1990s and 2000s.....
i.e., AFTER the fall of the Soviet Union!!!!
Big deal!!!!
I can tell you for certain that there are more American traitors than spies.
The Chinese have them beat; thousands of CCP spies out in the open inside the US.
The real danger use to be if foreign spies worked their way into positions of national security.
Now they no longer have too..since the dims are more than willing to sell the info for a few shiny beads.
See Mike Wallace and clan.
Now I know why that Russian colleague at work claimed to know nothing about the Miracle On Ice.
A true party apparatchik, denying reality until the bitter end.
“a vast network of undercover Russian spies active in the US during the 1990s and 2000s”
Impossible! Many comrades on FR keep reminding me that after the Cold War ended, Russia became a beacon of light and freedom and friend to the whole world!
