Yup. AAA is to this day more of a threat than smart weapons, by and large. The B24 was produced in similar numbers, had more capacity, but had a lower flight ceiling, so the attrition rate was probably skewed overall.

Yeah, getting to 12 missions was unusual, and only 25% completed the 25 mission tour, if memory serves (they talk about it in the interview).
