He wasn’t in school working full time at Wendy’s would be 12 to 13 an hour the local chic fil a is paying 15 to 18 here in dfw and they still are short staffed. Anyway no rent, no bills living for free at granny’s means he had his full income to himself. $13 per hour is 27,000 per year with the recent tax cuts would be an effective 10% tax rate. 17 is full adult in Texas you can work full.time at 16 if you drop out of school officially or 17 if you are still enrolled. That truck was not his he didn’t even have a licence to drive. Body armor can be had for $500 and those Daniel defense are 1200 to 1800 each well within the price range of a $13 he worked with no bills to pay that’s three weeks pay for each. Since he was never institutionalized he would have passed a 4473. The only way you get flagged in codis is to be committed.
