The founders made provision for modifying the Constitution. Any Congressman or Senator who doesn’t like the 2nd amendment has the ability to propose a new amendment to nullify the section of the Constitution he or she doesn’t like. For some reason Senator Murphy prefers histrionics to actually spending the effort to put changing the amendment to a vote in Congress and in the states. Perhaps the Senator doesn’t believe in “democracy.”

Well, for starters chris, it happens everywhere there are mentally sick people and evil. Perhaps you can’t remember or aren’t old enough to remember the attack in Norway were 67 young people on an island were killed?

There are other examples but let’s just start with that one.
The problem here chris is that not all people are equal. Some people are mentally ill and need to be isolated from other people who aren’t mentally ill. Others are just pure evil and not compatible with civil society. Harsh measures need to be taken to control both kinds of people and not the instruments they use. If they don’t get a gun they will find something else to do their damage. I can kill a man with a mechanical pencil. Do those need to be banned too?
A lot of those mentally ill people are living on the streets and using drugs supplied by programs supported by the likes of you. Those drugs just make them more mentally ill and more dangerous.
Let’s save the division and hatred your party encourages daily between races and factions of our society for some other day.
So you see chris, the problem may start with you who have coddled the people who pull the triggers on guns, slice people with knives, drive into crowds with cars and blow people up with bombs in pressure cookers.
