This has been covered here ad infinitum - do a search. Some women can’t breastfeed; some women haven’t breast-fed their babies from the beginning. (It’s doesn’t turn on and off like a faucet.)

Some babies have nutritional needs that aren’t met by the home-made preparations and need specific formulas.

There are all sorts of reasons why this shortage is a real crisis for many families.

and that Sturgis plant supplied 40% of the WIC market so this is poor people being affected because you know how the dems care about the poor people.

People with money can go to amazon.com.

OTOH, some women can breastfeed years after having had a child. Takes a while to start that engine but it does happen. Grandmothers can lactate. (Some; not all.)
