If only native Texans voted in 2018, Beto O’Rourke would be our junior senator today. New Texans are what’s keeping Texas Republican.

LOL...you forgot your /sarc tag.

Are YOU a native Texan?

If so, you are highly misguided.

According to this exit poll, O’Rourke won native Texans 51-48, while Cruz won among those who moved to Texas 57-42: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign-polls/415932-exit-poll-more-native-texans-voted-for-orourke-than-cruz/

This Texas Public Policy Foundation poll from January 2020 found that those who moved to Texas were significantly more likely to support Trump over Hillary than native Texans: https://www.texaspolicy.com/press/tppf-poll-80-of-texans-say-there-is-an-immigration-crisis

And no, I am not a native Texan. I moved here 12 years ago. I voted for Cruz in 2018, and I know a number of native Texans who voted for O’Rourke.
