As a matter of fact, they are. Republicans are making historic gains in the border counties in Texas because the citizens living there are fed up over the border mess.
But that's not what I was talking about, of course. Non-citizens can't vote in Texas. The people moving to Texas from other states vote more heavily Republican than people born in Texas.
What did micro Bush do with the Alamo? At least he didn’t demolish it as was done with Monument Ave statues.
I know little of George P. Bush, but family names are a two-edged sword. The same name that greases the skids to get in the door can also be extremely divisive and counterproductive after a bad run.
There are 330 million people in this country. A couple hundred million are 35 years old+ and are natural born citizens. We are not North Korea, pretending to be a meritocracy that keeps drawing from the same bloodline.
The Houston Oilers name was officially retired by the NFL, it is time for the Bush name to be retired as well.
If only native Texans voted in 2018, Beto O’Rourke would be our junior senator today. New Texans are what’s keeping Texas Republican.
LOL...you forgot your /sarc tag.
Are YOU a native Texan?
If so, you are highly misguided.
This Texas Public Policy Foundation poll from January 2020 found that those who moved to Texas were significantly more likely to support Trump over Hillary than native Texans: https://www.texaspolicy.com/press/tppf-poll-80-of-texans-say-there-is-an-immigration-crisis
And no, I am not a native Texan. I moved here 12 years ago. I voted for Cruz in 2018, and I know a number of native Texans who voted for O’Rourke.
