Tucker Carlson Is Brilliant But This Time He’s Wrong(Ukraine)

Carlson spoke out against any American involvement even before the Russian troops crossed the border. But Carlson’s definition of American involvement even included opposition to sending money or weapons to the Ukrainian military. That was a mistake, and he is only compounding it now by opposing further U.S. funds for Kyiv.

A very even-handed article that advocates military assistance. Reagan sent stinger missiles to Afghanistan. It worked. W blew up Iraq. It worked for Iran. There's a difference.

If we send weapons are we not as engaged as the Ukes? Would Russia not be within her rights to attack us? Why send them $40B when there are empty shelves in our grocery stores? Besides, according to the propaganda on FR, the Ukes are kicking Ruski butt anyway.

Since WW II the United States has had multiple foreign entanglements. In sum it has cost trillions of dollars, over 70,000 dead young Americans, hundreds of thousands more physically and psychologically maimed and a marked change in the culture. It has hurt the American people and weakened the nation and its unifying social consensus. Tucker Carlson is right to caution Americans about yet another foreign entanglement that does have some risk for nuclear war.

The US deep-state has been aggressively mucking around on Russia’s borders, and especially in Ukraine, for the last 20 years.

To all the DC neocons and armchair generals out there - If America continues along our destructive and divisive socialist path — what would you say to Mexico and China someday playing around in Texas politics? Sending weapons? Organizing elections and coups?

How about Bernie's Lake Champlain villa? After all, Vermont also hosted Alexander Solsheynitzyn during his exile.

Most of this is supposition and hindsight. There is now, and never was, any reason to expect Russia to move beyond Ukraine. The important question is why attack now? Maggie Haberman says because Trump was too stupid to understand international affairs — this should be the signal something else is going on.

He’s not wrong. Because it’s ALWAYS us. This is a European problem. Just what did we set up the UN for?? To stop this type of aggression. But all they do is debate in their thousand-dollar suits and pass toothless “sanctions.”

Oh China? while we are effing around in Ukraine and tickling the nuclear dragon's tail and running up more debt and ignoring our own supply chain issues, We are on the process handing China Taiwan and inviting the mother of all supply chain crises.

We play in Ukraine and China winds. The only question is how much? It could be the whole shooting match.

Sorry Americanthinker, Tucker is right again. We can get fentanyl easier than baby formula, crime is spiralling outta control in large cities, inflation is killing us, we don’t need Ukraine involvement. We have enough domestic problems at home. Biden won’t stop until we are in a nuclear war.

Our out of control government is spending more money on Ukraine's border than our own borders. That is money that we do not have and have to print. That increases inflation. Our border is out of control. It allows drugs to come into our nation unabated and leads to the death of over 100,000 Americans per year. The mass illegal invasion also makes America, less American. Then there is the security issue of terrorists from around the world entering America.

We have no national interests in Ukraine. If you think there are, then please enumerate. Ukraine is corrupt. Ukrainian oligarchs are not spending their money on the war, in fact they are making money on the back of American taxpayers. The sanctions put in place against Russia are actually helping finance Russia's military because they have raised the price of petroleum. Russia still sells its oil. Meanwhile, Biden does zero to return America to be a net exporter of petroleum products, which would actually reduce the price of gas and lower inflation. That also means that Russia would have less income from its oil. It would make Russia weaker and America stronger.

Every single policy Biden has makes America last and hurts everyday Americans.

Carlson is dead on right here. Not our circus and we need to stay focused on the big strategic picture and deal with our own problems.

It's one of those games where to play is to lose. And we are losing.

Tucker is correct. Sending aid to Ukraine is ....well, aiding them against Russia. Why the hell would we/should we do that?
And, the only way we can send money and aid to them now is to print more money and further devalue Americans’ earnings and savings.
