For those who think the Democrats’ lust for power has finally waned, think again.
After all that we Americans have been through because of the CCP Flu pandemic, it may seem that the worst of the COVID restrictions and mandates is finally over. Those who were fortunate enough to live in Red/Republican states during those evil times never had to deal with the full weight of a tyrannical governor’s boot on their necks. Sadly, for those of us who reside in Demo-Marxist enclaves such as New York, our so-called “freedom” is turning out to be an illusion.
During the inglorious reign of King Cuomo, New Yorkers were subjected to some of the harshest restrictions and mandates in the USA. Cuomo’s successor, the equally loathsome Kathy Hochul, has proven to be no bargain, as she’s shown herself to be even more enthusiastic about imposing whatever restrictions she can, the Constitution be damned.
Believe it or not, there is still a mask mandate in place for toddlers in New York City and, according to new “recommendations” from the City’s health chief, there is now a mask “advisory” for indoor public settings. This woman describes the horrors of masking the little ones (and you should read the replies as well):
Because my daughter is 4, her vomit was not confined to her flimsy surgical mask. It dripped out of her mask onto the floor (which is how I noticed she was throwing up). Which just shows what ridiculous theater putting a mask on a 4 year old is.https://t.co/QawrPU4F2u

Like a boot stomping on your face forever.
If its any consolation, while the restrictions may never die, the state certainly will. The spats over redrawn districts will be a regular thing; people don’t want to live there anymore.
The spats over redrawn districts are kabuki theater.
In June we travel from free TN to not-free NY for a family reunion. I want to take some Ivermectin with me “just in case”.
Since Gov. Lee signed the Bill permitting pharmacies to dispense it without a prescription, I called the pharmacy that compounds for our cats.
For a few days they’ll be taking care of people who have Covid now, but expect they can start working with us who want it as a prophylactic.
Good news — assuming we’ll eventually get it.
I will not comply.
I don’t believe that it is mere coincidence that,
1. Reports posted here are that illegals are NOT being tested for the virus as the government reported prior,
2. Rising cases are centered in the Northeast,
3. The Northeast is just one of many destinations for the secret flights of illegals all over the country,
4. The demoncrats just lost a court case over their gerrymandering efforts in NY,
5. The former ‘tin hat’ theory that the administration is transporting illegals to strategically alter voter demographics - particularly in leftist counties faced with rising economic emigration - is being proven true.
6. The states which leaned harder left were the states which exercised the greatest control over their populations under the fake ‘virus crisis’.
Nothing coming out of the NE will surprise me, including a ‘Monkeypox’ epidemic spread by the left’s gay community (recall Provincetown).
Despite the media hype for everything, COVID is basically over here in the tri-state. Our office is back 100%, few people are wearing masks on the subway, PATH, airports, etc. Indoor dining is at 100% and they’ve dropped the proof of vaccination except for Broadway shows. I suspect that if you go upstate, it will look very much like things are in Tennessee.
Same here in eastern TN. We’ve been “un-hyped” for many months — more than a year, I think — and it’s getting better. Hubby read that Covenant Health will no longer require patients to wear masks. Not sure if it’s true as I haven’t been to a Covenant facility lately.
Biden is giving WHO that power over us now.
They are theater but they show an unmistakable issue: Dems are fighting over a dwindling pie in states that are losing House seats.
