I wonder if using mouthwash like Listerine ( for saliva test) or swabbing your nose with alcohol ( for nasal test) can give you a false negative on a covid test.

Since the Chinese virus arrived here, I have done 6 cruises, 200+ visits to grocery stores, 100 visits to cancer clinic to escort my wife, and at least one visit every week to restaurants, I have not had any symptoms of covid, and the testing prior to boarding cruise ships always came back negative for covid. 16 months ago I had my first jab, and 3 more since. Zero side effects so far, knock on wood.
