Satellite surveillance since 1972 has enabled detection of hurricanes which stay out to sea and harmlessly blow themselves out, otherwise unobserved by human eyes. Before satellites, these hurricanes were unknown and not recorded. So the reported increase in Atlantic hurricanes the last 40 years or so are most likely accounted for by better observation, not greater frequency.
Actually this may be true. After all planes were grounded on 9-11 the ground temp of the US actually went up a degree or so due to no exhaust from aircraft flying overhead.
But remember..
THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT was blamed on POLLUTION trapping sun rays!
The COMING ICE was blamed on POLLUTION blocking sun rays!
GLOBAL WARMING is blamed on...POLLUTION again trapping sun rays!
