OAN dismissed from Georgia election workers' suit after settlement (Ruby Freeman profits from fraud?)

A judge has dismissed conservative cable news channel One America News Network from a defamation lawsuit filed by two Georgia election workers after the two sides reached a settlement.

Fulton County election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss in December sued OAN, its owners and its chief White House correspondent over debunked claims that the mother-and-daughter pair introduced suitcases of illegal ballots while working as ballot counters at State Farm Arena in Atlanta in November 2020 and committed other acts of fraud to try to alter the outcome of the presidential election in Georgia.

The terms of the settlement agreement were not disclosed, but both sides described it as fair.

OAN on Monday tweeted a clip from its broadcast with an anchor describing an “updated report from Georgia officials.” A voiceover then says state officials “have concluded that there was no widespread voter fraud by election workers who counted ballots at the State Farm Arena in November 2020. The results of this investigation indicate that Ruby Freeman and Wandrea ‘Shaye’ Moss did not engage in ballot fraud or criminal misconduct while working at State Farm Arena on election night.” The clip goes on to mention the settlement between the network and the two women.

In fact, Georgia officials concluded in late 2020, shortly after the allegations against the two women surfaced, that the pair had done nothing wrong.

Moss and Freeman also filed a separate defamation lawsuit against The Gateway Pundit, its owner Jim Hoft and his brother Joe Hoft, a contributor to the conservative website. That lawsuit is pending in federal court in Missouri.

I have yet to hear Ruby explain why she dragged out hidden ballots stored in suitcases strategically placed under a covered table.

Ruby and her ilk are liars, cheats and thieves. Not to be trusted with anything they do or say.

The ballots were in an odd assortment of civilian suitcases. Also, correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Freeman initially agree to some wrong doing but the Democrats told her to walk it back?

Georgia “authorities” investigated and exonerated her. Presumably during the investigation the ballots stored in suitcases were covered. Officially, at this point, Ruby was doing her job appropriately and owes no citizen an explanation. As to the investigation itself, no one is apparently questioning its thoroughness or integrity. Certainly the conservative media has been silenced on this issue. No one in a position of authority over the official investigation seems to want to challenge the results. Therefore the process has played out and Ruby is vindicated.

The only recourse is for citizens to pressure the Georgia authorities to provide the details of the investigation. Apparently that is not happening or the Georgia officials are stonewalling. Perhaps the citizens of Georgia should insist the legislature pass a sunshine law for state departments and officials with some teeth in it.

The fact that we know her name and she is still above ground leads me to believe that she had nothing to do with the steal.

A minor player like her would be disposed of if there was any chance she could expose the fraud.

Is that why the cowards at Fox News refuse to post 2000Mules on their website or air D’Sousa?

They were just following orders. It’s an argument that worked so well at Nuremberg.

I will speculate that the two women have very little money.

Thus, even if OAN wins the case, the women cannot pay OAN's legal fees.

Financially, it is a lose-lose proposition for OAN.

Has the state of Georgia publicly released the investigation of the ballot stuffed suitcases?

The entire system is intentionally flawed by design. Georgia elections are run like a flea market. I dont think either had anything to do with anything. They aren’t that smart. I know smart people and they aren’t smart. But the ballots themselves - what frickin ballot farm did they come from?

To settle the lawsuit OANN said something nobody believes.

The ONAN network paid them off because they knew the lies they had broadcast were indefensible. It’s cheaper to settle than to go to trial and lose even bigger.

This only proves how corrupt the “justus” system is.

Are you kidding me. How are they allowed to run ballots through the machine with no poll watchers and how is dragging ballots out and running them from under a table legal. And didn’t the video show them running some stacks multiple times. And let me guess the 2020 elections have been erased from the machine. And they first admitted to wrong doing. Knew they were busted and they found them the right judge.

Or why the same stacks of ballots were run through the counters multiple times or why, while surreptitiously handing a thumb drive to someone, whispers “We’re gonna get caught.”

weren’t these the same ballots that were counted AFTER the “broken water main” forced EVERYONE to leave (but only republican poll watchers left), but the counting continued, and video shows some ballots being run 3 times thru the counting machine? Did they EVER come up with a real explanation as to why they lied about a “broken water main” that turned out to be a leaky toilet connection, and why they lied about stopping the vote counting?
