You gotta hand it to conservatives – we get abused and dumped and generally treated like dishrags, but we never stop falling for the latest politician who is going to sweep us off our feet and make sweet, sweet political love to us. Yet maybe, instead of acting on our infatuations,----

Second time this Uniparty garbage has been posted. It sucked the first time.
Taking names of all these posting rino......!
Jim Jordan endorsing the traitor is the last straw. Effem ALL!
I LOVE Donald Trump. I LOVE how he improved our lives.
Jim Jordan? See if you can top this:
My POTUS crush 20 years ago was John Kasich. ‘Honorary’ member of the Class of ‘94. Even the late Robert Novak once wrote a column entitled ‘The Next Great Communicator’.
I think about 140 Republicans voted to give the Ukrainians $40,000,000,000.
This says everything that needs to said….

I regard politics to be a slightly less honorable profession than prostitution.
That means I regard the vast majority of politicians to be slightly lower than w****s.
So as long as a politician supports my agenda, I’ll be ok with him or her. But if that politician tries to go for a “wealthier suitor”, I won’t hesitate to dump him/her.
I don’t expect any greater loyalty from a politician than from a prostitute. There are a couple of rare exceptions. But those exceptions are very rare.
And if there are any questions, consider the number of ‘pubbies we elected in the 2010 Tea Party red wave that virtually instantly turned on us.
Joe Scarborough was another “bright new conservative star” of that class.
Too many jump on bandwagons based on what they want the candidate to be, without doing much research on who the candidate really is.
Fred Thompson for president. It took me 5 minutes of online research to realize he was more of a McCainiac and less of a conservative.
Mia Love. As soon as she crossed to Potomac, she veered left, into the black caucus.
The list of disappointments is long. Many run to the ‘right’ and swing to the ‘left’ after they get elected.
Failing that, we need to depend on actual human beings. And for the human beings that plan to do good for us to succeed they need a following.
Rush and Trump showed us that you can't get a great following by just so happening to be right. You need to be engaging and appeal to people's emotions as well.
So we are stuck getting hyped over pols who sometimes stay true and other times fall off the path.
What the RINO’s dont GET is that we are NOT falling in love with Trump or any other politician, we are SUPPORTING those conservatives who WILL ACTUALLY VOTE FOR CONSERVATIVE LAWS, and will demand and approve CONSERVATIVE JUDGES!!!
I have ZERO use for an old school politician who only SAYS what they KNOW we want to hear for primary, then RUNS back to the middle (cough cough LEFT) each and every time!
I don’t love Trump, it basically boils down to “If not Trump, then who?”
Nobody seems to have a good answer for that.
I consider politics to be the "legitimate business" a mobster keeps as a front for his real business.
But your point is well taken. There are very few Republicans who will fight for conservative values. Most of them are swishy "go-along-to-get-along" RINO types. And that is infuriating.
I would rather have working class conservatives than establishment “conservatives” in congress. That can only happen a few at a time by the very nature of our electionsystem.
So, what would I prefer to a democrat congress? Just about anything, including an appendectomy.
So, a “republican” congress is necessary for now. Incrementally strengthening one’s hand is how our constitution is written. It’s what we have to work with. It is best for a 10 to win, but I’ll go with a 7 over a 2 any day. 7s will disappoint more than I’d like, but a 2 will disappoint every single vote.
We’ll see about DeSantis.
The main advantage of Trump is, he actually wants the Job, and willing to take the arrows that come along with it.
Does DeSantis have that? Or is he happy just being Florida governor.
Can’t vote for someone who doesn’t want the job!
