Here in the Seattle area, we’ve had one of the coolest springs in years. Lately, highs have been in the low to mid 50s instead of the usual mid 60s.
90 degrees at night? In Holland, MI?
I think not.
Gimme a friendly break. It’s been the coolest spring recovery we’ve had here in Michigan, finally had one week in the eighties and its going back to highs in 60s / lows in 40s and the rocket scientists are blaming global warming again.
Un-be-friggin-lievable!
I got to visit the Keukenhof in The Netherlands about 2 months before leaving Europe as I concluded my active duty time in the Army. It was mid-April and a freak winter-like storm came across the English Channel the night before and the flower petals had ice/sleet pellets inside their bowl shape. Otherwise, it was a typical cool spring morning in Holland and the flowers remained beautiful after a very cold night.
I suggest we all social distance, wear masks and get quadruple vaccinated until all.this wilting is over with... can’t be too safe these days!
Tulip Time in Holland MI will take your breath away.

These were “yawn” events back in the days of common sense and rational thought. Now, little Susie’s tricycle tire is overinflated due to summer heat, and every major news outlet reports it as climate change.
