Employer is saying that Covid19 Vax is required to work there. How do I get around that?

I'm sure that I'm not alone one this. I am set to be interviewed by a reputable aerospace company. Their job posting states the following: "All prospective, newly hired, and/or onboarding employees must receive the COVID-19 vaccination in full prior to their start date with ULA. Vaccination is required as a condition of employment, unless otherwise exempted by approved reasonable accommodation."

How do I get around this?

You don’t. Either comply or find a better place to work. If not taking the job be sure to let them know why. Good people are very hard to find these day.

Come to Florida, haha. Here businesses cannot require the vaccine and you can get an exemption per our governor.

Request a reasonable accommodation. It takes some paper work but some companies are approving them. It may mean you have to wear a mask when on site but you get out of being poisoned.

My kid is finishing up her PhD and with just a few months to go, the school informed us that ALL students who didn’t have both shots and the booster would be un-erolled in a month. We thought about looking into fake certificates but in the end, decided to go ahead and get the booster.

Point out to them that their reputation is BS, they’re corrupt as hell, and tell them you wouldn’t work for them if they doubled the pay, cause you ain’t taking their dirty money.

Yesterday I gave a waitress a one hundred percent tip, she quit her job at a trendy engineering firm cause she won’t take the poison. Back to waiting tables at 35. This is in Florida, btw. The employers can still require it.

All this is common sense, but I recognize you need people to confirm...

You can try to avoid the question during interviews. Never know if they will think to ask. Every company is different.

So you get the job, and submit your religious or medical exemption with your background check info.

At that point, either HR or the hiring manager may win out - will accept it or not. Again, every company is different. Much depends on how their main government customer views things.

You have zero legal recourse if you get turned down. Tiny chance if they leak that you have the job conditional on exemption. But they won’t, and even if they did, it’s not worth it.

What is the rationale for requiring this vax? Obviously, the idea is that you’re not going to get covid nor are you going infect your co-workers. And yet who in his right mind still believes that at this point? The efficacy of these vaxxes in terms of preventing infections and transmissions is approximately zero, as quadruple-vaxxed people are being infected left and right.

Well the post says exactly what you need to do. Don’t want the vax get a reasonable accommodation. Can’t get the accommodation get the vax or another job.

In capitalistic system, business gets to make rules for their business. If they make many stupid rules the business will fail. Capitalism is self correcting.

Under Fascism, govt makes rules for businesses.
We don’t want that here. Florida is acting fascist if they are making rules for businesses.
