Members of the House of Representatives can now order alcoholic beverages for delivery directly to their offices from 8 am to 4 pm.
As House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lamented the demise of Democrat legislation to protect abortions and feigned outrage over America’s “unconscionable” baby formula crisis, her administrative office ramped up benefits for lawmakers.
House members received notification from the House Chief Administrative Officer announcing two new perks offered this week compliments of the chamber’s Democrat leadership: fully paid gym memberships and “House Drinks storefront” a brand new liquor and drinks outlet in the Rayburn House Office Building.
And lawmakers must show an ID to get served — unlike voting in Democrat states.

Who is the coke vendor?
If a person needs a eye opener at 8AM then maybe he/she should take the 12 step. That explains the laws we have now. The people are blasted.
I hope they stock lots of questionable liquors:
Low grade Caribbean cane whiskey. In WWII, known as “fightin’ whiskey”, because just after a shot or two your skin crawled and you wanted to punch the person next to you.
Slivovitz. The plum brandy liquor that kept the Balkans at war all these years.
Absinthe. With hallucinogenic drugs added to make up for the lack of wormwood.
Changaa. Where can you get Changaa? Only in Kenya.
Confiscated Moonshine.
The bottom line is to get the senators and congressmen drunk and belligerent.
Drinking on the job is a good sign of alcoholism.
Congressmen just use capitol liquor store booze to wash down their capitol pharmacy dementia meds.
Lol. Isn’t he the one who got drunk with a hooker and fell into the fountain? Or something like that.
“Who’s going to be monitoring deliveries to Nazi Pelousy’s office?
AOC’s office?”
AOC does have extensive experience as a bartender!
Yup.
I thought this was from the Bee... Is the bartender AOC?

A chance encounter between police and a speeding car on October 7, 1974, eventually ended the career of one of America’s most powerful congressmen. When police stopped the automobile of Arkansas Democrat Wilbur D. Mills, one of Mills’s passengers, a burlesque performer with the stage name Fanne Foxe, dove into the Tidal Basin – and into Washington folklore.
Before long the details of Mills’s alcoholism, extramarital relationship with Foxe, and bizarre behavior were splashed onto the front pages. Mills lost first his chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee and then his seat in Congress, choosing retirement in 1976 rather than a difficult reelection campaign.
Interns will be busy on their knees.
Thanks for that. I was off a bit but close enough.
You can’t make this stuff up. No wonder she doesn’t want to retire.
Bet she cut the booze with water 40% but sales increase to get drunk.
Great question
