A number of female veterans have come forward to detail the horrific sexual assaults they faced at the hands of male military members while serving - with several revealing that the attacks led to unwanted pregnancies that prompted them to get abortions.
As part of a new, popular TikTok trend, numerous former soldiers have shared stories of the abuse that they suffered while fighting for their country.
Multiple women have spoken out about their choice to get abortions after being sexually assaulted while in the military - in the wake of the recent Roe v. Wade ruling.
One veteran said she was roofied and sexually assaulted by three services members; another claimed she was raped by her supervisor and was 'bullied by fellow soldiers' after she reported it; a third alleged that she was 'pinned down' and forced to have sex with a fellow soldier while at her first duty station.
he first woman, who goes by the username @dv.bot online, shared her experience in a video which has now gone viral - gaining more 850,000 views in a matter of days.
'My first year in the military, at 20 [years old], I was roofied and [sexually assaulted] by three service members,' she wrote in the clip.
'I ended up pregnant. I wanted to keep the baby, but didn't want a child from a [sexual assault].'

A date rape drug, usually slipped into a drink. Per wiki:
“A date rape drug is any drug that incapacitates another person and renders that person vulnerable to sexual assault, including rape.”
The first one looks like she was gang raped by an angry tattoo parlor.
otoh, I lived with a murderer, and a quite a few angry mean out of control drunks that probably would have raped a drunk or drugged person - male or female.
if you are stupid enough to get drunk or go drinking alone with some people, dont kill your kid, you have mostly yourself to blame.
P.s. i call b.s. on her story that he came to her barracks and raped her. Never seen a barracks male or female that allowed people to walk right in thru unlocked doors. A male or female caught in the wrong barracks was in deep doo-doo with the C.O. and faced at least a prescribed njp, reduction in rank, brig time, fines etc.
Man, the screeching that comes after that comment in a conversation about rape is ear splitting. Apparently saying people are ultimately responsible for their actions equates to you saying she "deserved it" to some people.
Raped while serving in the military? Did it ever occur to them that in a war, rape is one of the first high risk events suffered by female soldiers. You would think they would take precautions. According to democrat Hoyer, the USA is currently at war and should not criticize Puppet Biden. Just saying.

nobody deserves to be raped but, they put themselves in front of a preverbial speeding truck thinking it will stop before it hits them, because its wrong to run people over, even if they are standing in the middle of the freeway, at night dressed in black.

Some women do the same thing hanging out with bad people, getting drunk or high with strangers, walking alone at night. Thinking nothing will ever happen to them.

That is a poor analogy. The firecracker didn't light itself and choose to explode. Assuming these allegations are true, then the culprits chose to commit those crimes.
Some of the comments at that article were from men who lost rank for defending women. At least THEY were able to choose to do the right thing.
Exception for rape is more widely accepted and would probably be legal even in states where abortions are basically banned.
But you can’t make the case for permitting late-term abortion because of a statistically tiny number of extreme cases.

Also, the military culture concerning the “cute” phrase that everyone gets a chuckle with of “What goes on in TDY, stays in TDY” is not helpful in a co-ed institution. That is excuse making 101 from a psychological/conditioning POV. But hey, Brave New World, reason went out the window a long time ago and in this case, mixing men and women in a highly stressful (And sometimes extremely violent) environment of a 24/7 occupation (During Basic and any TDY) is a magnet for chaos.
