'While every title is different, we approach them based on the same set of principles: we support the artistic expression of the creators we choose to work with; we program for a diversity of audiences and tastes; and we let viewers decide what's appropriate for them, versus having Netflix censor specific artists or voices.'
Netflix Culture — Seeking Excellence
Great entertainment thrills and inspires. It sparks laughter, tears, gasps and sighs, stirring our emotions and nourishing our spirit. Ever since humans learned to speak, storytelling has been essential to our happiness.
At Netflix, we aspire to entertain the world—creating great stories from anywhere and offering greater choice and control for people everywhere. To help us succeed, we've created an unusual employee culture. This document is about that culture, and how we can continuously improve as a team so that we can better serve our members.

I’ve got the fire stick. Not much selection there either. Local channels out of market? (not news). If I could just get NFL games on local out-of-state markets I wouldn’t need Youtube. Amazon should sell a la cart individual games.
They probably don’t want to end up the way Woke Disney did. No company should put the feelings of its snowflake employees over those of its customers.
could we be past “peak woke”
Netflix’s figured out they need more viewers than the old CNN+ bunch?
That the 1% of the population that’s WOKE couldn’t elect a dog catcher no less keep a company going?
Good thinking ...
Going broke sucks.
Did the ask obxxx and michelle about that first?
They need to hurry up and reflect the change in their programming.
I haven’t hardly anything decent to watch in months.
Getting ready to cancel Netflix.
Hulu and Tubi are my favorites right now.
“could we be past “peak woke””
I thought it would take a large company—already ultra woke—to come out and say enough! I look for other to quickly follow Netflix and put Woke to sleep.
Netflix is starting to put on it’s Big Boy Pants and stand up for it’s rights. The Lilliputians are losing their grip.
Yeah, those can be handy as a last resort. Even crazy Joe agrees. But let's see if there is some good content first.
“MAGA people stream “content” too.”
I canceled Netflix three months ago and have not missed it at all. It had gotten over the top Woke and I had had enough.
A cratering stock price and alarming reduction in membership revenue can spur on that kind of behavior.
Years and Years too late, they finally do what they should have done in the first place.....before they pissed off and lost a lot of their customers.
Please put a warning up when running a vignette of that a hole so I can pass over it. Thank you!
I cancel my Netflix subscription last month and in the form where they ask why I just put “woke communist garbage.”
Netflix is watching their market share erode as people dump them in droves.
Purging the company of the degenerates who thought “Cuties” was a good idea is a fine first step to restoring confidence.
Next up would be to start producing some content that John Wayne would be proud of.
>>> could we be past “peak woke” <<<
The leftist war against “Libs of Tik Tok” seems to have turned a corner with normal people. Hating someone just because they share unedited content from crazy woketards made a lot more people look at the crazy woketards.
And then suddenly the normal people were no longer afraid of the woketards.
Here’s the biggie in the policy change:
““Not everyone will like — or agree with — everything on our service,” the Artistic Expression section continues. “While every title is different, we approach them based on the same set of principles: we support the artistic expression of the creators we choose to work with; we program for a diversity of audiences and tastes; and we let viewers decide what’s appropriate for them, versus having Netflix censor specific artists or voices.””
