She is. What she is also avoiding is people asking why knowing her mother’s long battle with mental illness she did not do more to prevent her mother’s access to firearms? Yes, Naomi could have used other implements or means but lots of those fail or give time for intervention.
I am going to take a big leap and write I would not be surprised if Judd had recently changed prescriptions (if she was on antidepressants)and the medication (old or new) may have lead to an increase of suicidal thoughts. Seems contradictory but it is a common warning for such meds.
