Meatballs with grape jelly did not define the ‘60s!
(Never heard of or encountered them.)
The meatballs were from the Betty Crocker Cookbook. They were called Waikiki Meatballs. The sauce was grape jelly and chili sauce.
I remember tiny meatballs in some kind of jelly at a Jewish wedding reception.
