Researchers have reported that supplementing a diet with the sea organisms Ascidiacea, also known as sea squirts, reverses some of the main signs of aging in an animal model.
These sea organisms contain substances called plasmalogens, which are vital to our body processes. Plasmalogens are found all over our bodies naturally, particularly in the heart, brain and immune cells, but as we get older, the amount in our body decreases. This loss is also a characteristic of several neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
The researchers studied the effects of adding plasmalogens to the diet of aged mice.
They found profound effects on the learning abilities and physical symptoms of these mice.
Professor Lei Fu, says: "Our research suggests that plasmalogens may not just stop cognitive decline, but may reverse cognitive impairments in the aging brain. Additionally, aged mice fed with the plasmalogens grow new black hair that is thicker and glossier than aged mice not fed the supplement."
Synapses are a fundamental part of our neural networks and, therefore, crucial for learning and memory. Our synapses tend to be very plastic as children, but they decrease in number and deteriorate with age and in neurogenerative diseases, resulting in cognitive impairments.
A further characteristic of getting older is inflammation in the brain. Too much inflammation can have a negative effect on cognitive ability, as the brain's immune system becomes overactive and turns on itself, attacking neurons and preventing synapses from functioning correctly.
In this study, the inflammation in aged mice was greatly decreased in those given plasmalogen supplements compared to those on a normal diet, providing some insight as to why they performed better in learning and memory tasks.

i think mine has an inflammation origin because it happened after a vaccine.
Some people have success with Vitamin B. It has no effect for me except when I get this weird thing that almost sounds like when you eat pop rocks.
I tried a product called Bolt
https://theprobar.com/products/strawberry-bolt-energy-chew
Didnt stop the ear ringing but did stop the weird crackling or whatever it was
I have the two common MTHFR gene variations and I am sure that plays into all of this somehow.
for those of you that have never heard of pop rocks
here is the sound
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PriFAwnJCp0
I was hearing a much more subtle version and was worried it was a sign of an impending stroke..it was definitely a new sound and no idea what prompted it but it stopped after I ate a Bolt chew
I’m almost embarresed to say my list but its:
MORNING:
1 enteric aspirin
500mg Resvirotrol
500mg coco flavanoids
800mg micellular circumin
750mg milk thistle
100mg lycopene
12mg astataxathin
4g superfood concentrate (basically dehydrated vegetables)
7g marine collagen
7g bovine collagen
100mg CoQ10
30mg zinc/450mg magnesium
1g full-flush niacin
chewable mutlti-vitamin
500mg Vitamin C
5,000iu Vitamin D
NIGHT
1 enteric aspirin
4g omega 3 fish oil
7g marine collagen
7g bovine collagen
500mg Vitamin C
1g full-flush niacin
Plus I make sure I get 200g of protein a day. (I’m a large guy, not fat.)
I take too many to list.
Plus there are some that I take for awhile and then stop.
I mentioned two.
Well, I’m adding one more Ha.
I do want to try to find a new “superfood”. I used to take one that came in a powder and was mainly green vegetables, which, if there is a hole in my diet, that’s it.
Lately, I’ve been taking “Texas Superfood” and I’m thinking it’s mainly just a fiber pill.
How long have you been taking Lion’s Mane and how much daily?
you’ll want to research “long covid” if you have a number of symptoms after the covid shots.
your symptoms sound mild but they can be much more severe.
there are lots and lot of youtubes articles and ebooks on the subject.
I’m researching on it now for my own ebook.
It was actually from a different vaccine. Ear ringing is often a reported side effect of vaccines...which tells me it is often related to something to do with your immune system.
I tested positive for some obscure auto antibodies..so might have affected the vaccine side effects
auto immune disease causes a lot of inflammation in the body.
Good news for mice...not so much for humans.
my situation is weird and they cant figure it out.
for example, the typical inflammation markers are normal . I had to press to get the second line of antibody tests that often aren’t ordered... which did pop red flags.
Waiting on some genetics test to see what they say.
my understanding of methelyation is that it is the pattern by which certain genes are turn on and off.
google
how do you optimize your body’s methylation process

There are some answers there. One thing that sticks out is sulpheraphane or sulpher related stuff
This is where the MTHFR gene mutations come into play. Many have two of the variations.
The fact that I have multiple variations could be why the Bolt chew changed what was going on with my hearing. I don’t know how many of my variations are benign
well at this point I’m way out of my depth. good luck.
you can get a little snip of your genes analyzed by 23andme for $100 bucks. You can upload to prometheus for $12 and have it analyzed. It was pretty spot on for things my family has dealt with but missed my thalassemia.
you can do it with a fake name.
You can get a whole gene test at Nebula.org. they just had it for 199 but I missed it. back to 299.
btw, prometheus did not miss my thalassemia but the genetic trait section on 23andme did miss it.
Here in Louisiana, Tabasco was always the ‘go to’ brand. But Crystal has a more pronounced vinegar kick, which I like.
is there an accurate test that will analyze the best food for you to eat given your genetic make up?
Kind of. I have seen the claims but I have never looked into it.
which one of the plasmogen supplements did you decide on?
