But he said his crews complained about coming across needles, drug paraphernalia, feces and were concerned about theft.

“You don’t know what’s going to happen,” Cirbo said.

In a recent email to a downtown customer, Cirbo wrote, “We made a decision as a company not to do any work downtown almost two years (ago). The technicians were tired of stepping over needles, human feces, vans getting broken into, etc.”

In 2022, possession of marijuana is illegal in all 50 states. Under federal law, marijuana is categorized as a controlled substance under Schedule I of the Controlled Substance Act. Thus knowing or intentional marijuana possession is illegal, even if an individual has no intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense marijuana.

Of course Freepers would be the ones to disregard laws that they find inconvenient. They make common cause with the Democrats in ignoring immigration laws.

Nothing turns Freepers into Big Government statists like the federal drug laws that nobody voted for.

At least most of the states that legalized weed actually voted to do so.

No principled distinction can be drawn between ignoring federal drug laws and ignoring federal immigration laws.

There will be a tipping point.

The sooner, the better.

Actually, immigration laws are well within the federal government's authority to enact and enforce.

Drug laws? Not so much.

Yeah, they love making fun of the trades until we don’t deliver anymore. Hey, just look it up on YouTube and fix your own a/c, or plumbing, or roof, or........
Don’t worry you can automate it😆

“This is the first time in our history that city leaders have completely abandoned their oaths, basic services, and quality of life issues.”

You sure got that right!!

I vividly remember the mayor of DC back in the late 90s. A whacko, crackhead two-time mayor by the name of Marion Barry. That’s when I became vividly aware of the decay and absolute rot in many US cities. LA, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Memphis, NYC (before Giuliani), and several others. These cities, for the most part, had one thing in common (you guess).

These cities were shitholes then and even worse today.

And then, lo and behold we get the same leadership for our country in the mid-2000s. Guess what happened. The shithole rot metastasized like fast-growing cancer across the whole country!!

Whatever happened to HOPE?? Remember that mantra from a well-known president.

It’s not turning out too well is it?

Can’t remember the Colorado town but we were on vacation and we were downtown on a Sunday and it was full of hippies, homeless etc. and we asked a store owner what was going on and he said people had been flocking in the previous week because that Monday was the first day that the selling of pot was legal in the town. I was surprised because it had been legal in other parts.

Texas has liberals. Lots of them. They like to move from places like Boston and think they are big time he-men for living in Texas, but they remain wimpy little liberal girlyboys. They make their way to Colorado. We saw lots of Texas license plates of slow idiots that couldn’t drive.

Heck no! Proud to! Melbourne was a hometown for me for many years as I lived there in the summers and kept it as my military permanent residence. Florida was always an adopted State of mine. Glad I could finally move here.

Oddly, it was a safe place in the early 1980’s, but it got Mexican gang influences by 1988.

The laws are enacted and in force. If you think they are invalid, the principled approach is to challenge them in court or to have them repealed through the mechanisms provided by the Constitution.

Too much work. Easier to be lawless like the Democrats.

No surprise. Stretching of the feet is the answer. I got rid of it when I was painting the trim in my house along the floors. All that getting up and down did the trick.

He told CBS4 ,”You don’t know whats going to happen,” and he felt thieves in downtown Denver would steal “anything that’s not locked down.”

Denver became a democrat hellhole... All of us living in Red States need to put out the word: democrats aren't welcome.

I was briefly stationed at Pete Field in Colorado Springs in 1971.....had to opportunity to go back 30 years later and immediately wished I hadn’t. The Springs, Denver and most other cities in CO used to be great....then the influx.......

“Hurricane season is right around the corner.....be prepared”

That’s easy to be prepped for.

I prefer to concentrate on the sugar sand beaches, the babes in bikinis, and sun-n-fun. Colorado had one snow storm after another this past year. Thank God I missed that nasty crap, not to mention the flaming mentally ill homosexual governor Polis shutting things down and forcing the covid death jab on everyone.

I do too, but B-12 doesn’t survive it’s trip through the stomach. It has to be sublingual or through the skin with a patch. The patches work for me the best.
