Marvin the Martian’s front door of his house. I read about his house in the May issue of Good Marskeeping. His neighbors includes Buggs Bunny, Sylvester and Tweety, Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, Wil E. Coyote and The Roadrunner. Downloaded it and zoomed in. The only reason it looks like a doorway is because of the shadow. Zoomed in you can clearly see the natural fractures that the stones fell out of.

In the article in Good Marskeeping, he said Martians were stereotyped as being mean and he hated it. He said California is not a place to raise a family and his wife and kids hated it. He said he retired from Hollywood because everyone wanted him to play the villian. He wanted to play a nice Martian. 🤓

It’s a rover. The thing needs to move, take pictures again, them move again and take pictures. It would be trivial to end up with a stereoscopic image that would definitely tell you what this is.

Looks to me like a rover claw took a sample out of the soil, leaving a divot. I’ve seen similar when an excavator takes a bucket full of earth out of a previously undisturbed construction site.
