CNN —
When two pink vertical lines on a pregnancy test stared back at Taylor Esche last summer, she was contemplating her options before even leaving her bathroom.
On paper, Esche, 28, and her now fiancé seemed to be perfect candidates for parenthood, she tells CNN: Esche is a business owner, her fiancé is a lawyer and the two own a home together in Nashville, Tennessee.
But the results of a positive pregnancy test last June didn’t bring the excitement they expected. They didn’t feel ready or properly equipped to welcome a child into the world, Esche says.
So, the couple made the difficult decision to get an abortion at a local clinic when Esche was five weeks pregnant.
On Monday evening, Esche checked her phone after a networking event and saw a Snapchat from a friend. The post shared the news that a draft of a majority opinion from the Supreme Court, published by Politico, would strike down Roe v. Wade’s holding of a federal constitutional right to an abortion.
The opinion, which is not a final decision, would be the most consequential abortion decision in decades and transform the landscape of reproductive health care in America. The final opinion isn’t expected to be published until late June, and language and votes can change before its formal release.
As supporters of abortion rights rallied outside the Supreme Court building Monday night, Esche, reaching a breaking point, found herself in bed crying with her fiancé as the couple decided to speak out about their own experience, she says.

This woman gave reason after reason of why it was "not right for her to have a baby" never mind that the baby was already here and it was right for the baby to be killed in the uterus.
If only someone could invent something to prevent “birthing people” from getting pregnant in the first place.......... 😕
What a deplorable woman. A 28-year-old woman shacking up with a lawyer... owning their own home... and they weren’t “ready” or “equipped for parenthood”? And so their kid had to be killed? What selfish garbage. Honeybunch was in bed crying about Alito’s opinion because she’s guilty as hell about what she did.
“I took myself out of the gene pool and I’m proud of it because some three letter agency told me so.”
“I took myself out of the gene pool “
Should just post term self abort then.
Five weeks pregnant. So able to get an abortion almost anywhere. Of course as you pointed out, birth control!
Did she think she would never get pregnant?
They sound like greedy, “me, me, me” creeps who don’t deserve to have a child.
Does anyone? 😃
What a couple of selfish, murdering pigs. Is this supposed to sway people to be in favor of baby killing? Epic fail.
Unfortunately there were plenty of people that were ready for the child. Truly sad.
I thought you were replying to the comment:
“They didn’t feel ready or properly equipped to welcome a child into the world...”
I remember leaving the hospital with my wife and our first child. I looked at my wife and said “That’s it? No training certificate, no license - just walk out?” Half in jest, half wondering what we had gotten ourselves into!
I find it difficult to read these stories of personal self-indulgent intentional murder and have any feelings of sympathy about THEIR feelings - either at the time of their abortions or now.
At the link there’s a picture of her. She’s a flake fruitcake.
Have faith, God is slow to anger but, when he is ready, all hell will break loose.
There will soon be the heart warming story of when Esche had a baby, and then, after 3 years lost her job and her husband got lower commissions, so they decided to kill the three year old.
As they were not properly equipped to handle the child, so it was time for Dr. Kevorkian.
“On paper, Esche, 28, and her now fiancé seemed to be perfect candidates for parenthood, she tells CNN: Esche is a business owner, her fiancé is a lawyer and the two own a home together in Nashville, Tennessee.”
It’s not clear why she had an abortion. With a house and job, how much more materially ready can you be? Were they really engaged? Were they really committed to a life together or were they just playing house? Did they not want to live the monogamy of married life? Did she not want her body stretched by a pregnancy? Did they not want to take the time to care for a baby? Is she so immature that she couldn’t care for a baby? There are a lot of unflattering questions about her decision. I’ll bet unpaid student loans figured into her decision.
Bingo!
They are lost.
Utterly devoid of love......except for themselves.
I am one of those ‘ hardliners’ who objected to ‘women’s lib’ way back when.....
‘I am woman hear me roar’ was not a favorite song
As a young wife and mom I saw the slippery slope ahead for those who disdained tried and true values and norms.......and God
When my husband went back to college after his military service......women’s lib was just ramping up
We lived on campus and representatives of the ‘Gloria Steinem’ brigade
gave meet and greet ‘coffees’ to ramp up support for their cause
They told us to give up our married surname, put our babies in daycare and get a job!
They said a lot more and they were frightenly convincing
The ‘pill’ was meant to free women from the stigma of unmarried sex......
....and then they ramped it up to abortion.....( where they really wanted to go in the first place)
As naive as I was.....and I was......I didn’t fall for it, and many likewise of my generation didn’t because a lot of us were churched and covered in prayer by our families ( & yes I know well churched children can also get led astray).....we lived in a Judeo Christian society that expected certain morals to be observed...(not any more and not in a long time)
It was the ole ‘frog in the pot’ scenario......turn up the heat gradually
Women were exploited and used.....
And here we are
49 years and 62+ MILLION aborted babies
LOL! Yeah, my first wife already had a child so she kinda knew. The second one was like.......gotta figure this out real quick.
I’m old enough to have observed a lifetime of women who have had abortions. Every single last one of them has had a terrible life. Suicides, divorces, estrangement from the children they did let live, etc.
