EXCLUSIVE: Disney is severing ties with Fred Savage following multiple complaints of misconduct in his role as executive producer and director on the freshman ABC comedy series The Wonder Years, produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios. The allegations were investigated, leading to Savage’s dismissal.
The Wonder Years, a reboot of the beloved 1988 series, which starred Savage, has not been renewed for a second season yet but remains in contention.
“Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched. Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years,” a spokesman for 20th Television said in a statement to Deadline, declining further comment.

LOL! Stern’s main claim to fame was playing a thug, that terrorized another Kevin in the “Home Alone” franchise.

He was a star of the original Wonder Years, yes. He had some popular kids movies in the 80s and 90s as well, but he became very quiet. I suspect he was one of those child stars whose parents actually took some level of responsibility for his life before he was old enough to handle it or understand.

Quiet? My understanding is he does a lot of directing, ads, voiceover, and some acting.
As child stars go, he was quiet.
Im sure it had nothing to do with another male of any age , grooming or any other sexual perversity with the same sex because we would have never heard of it
I have been watching the reboot and its pretty good. Really neat link to the original involving Winnie’s brother who died in Nam and the elders brother in this series.
Fred’s brother Ben was also a child star of Boy Meets World, and a reboot of sorts the recent Girl Meets World. Both are featured on a current TV commercial for Goldfish crackers.
Fred and Jason Harvey were accused of sexual harassment at the end of the Wonder Years run by a crew member. Alley Mills whom played the mother of these two on the show claimed years later the allegations were a pile of scrap.
