(UPI) -- The Clark County School District Police Department of Las Vegas stopped a driver with a fake license plate that authorities say had Cracker Jack stickers on it.
Police referred to the female driver on Facebook as Fictitious Phyllis and uploaded photos of the license plate. The driver was also quoted.
"My vehicle is registered to a trust. If you cite me for such, you will be entering into a contract with the trust," the driver said.
"Upon our short and sweet investigation, Phyllis was issued some citations and apparently we entered ourselves into a contract with a trust," police continued.
The license plate had stickers on it that said "DOT" and "2022." Valid registrations would have included a sticker with a month and year of renewal.
Recently, police in San Francisco found themselves in an unusual traffic stop when they pulled over a car that turned out to be a self-driving vehicle.

“”My vehicle is registered to a trust. If you cite me for such, you will be entering into a contract with the trust,” the driver said”
Do what now???

To add your name to the growing Nevada ping list, FReepmail me...
Some people are too stupid to be allowed to drive..................
It would seem Florida Woman has relocated west.
What happens when a police officer pulls over a self driving car?
Does the car flirt with the officer to get out of the ticket?
Does the car offer up it’s license and registration?
Does the car apologize for whatever it’s done wrong?
All the info will be accessed via wifi.
If it’s Siri driving I would think she might flirt.
Mine cries but it never stops the cop from writing a ticket.
Looks good to me.
</chuckle>
“Some people are too stupid to be allowed to drive”

Funny - the post just above this one is a story on a San Francisco cop pulling over a self driving car.
Poverty would be the other reason. Food or DMV stickers.
What happens when self-driving police car pulls over a self-driving car?
The DMV, for reasons beyond ineptitude and stupidity, “sold” hubby’s existing vanity tag to some guy with a pickup truck two years ago.
And then we had to pay his parking fines but the DMV said they “fixed it”.
We just got another pile of Speedpass fines from the eastern shore traffic cameras and now the junky truck is a Cadillac Escalade with stickers that expired last year, 1/21.
They don’t seem to be able to tell the difference between a small motorcycle tag on a trike and a large tag on an Escalade and here we are.
I’m just waiting until the tag usurper knocks over a 7-11 or something.
No idea how they can catch the guy and take the tag away from him as they don’t seem to be able to find the name or address of who they sold it to erroneously, 2 years ago.
I saw a car one day that had a Texas paper plate on it that was dated to expire in two years instead of two months. I wonder if the police ever stopped him for it.
I’m thinking a matter/antimatter situation.
