(UPI) -- The Clark County School District Police Department of Las Vegas stopped a driver with a fake license plate that authorities say had Cracker Jack stickers on it.
Police referred to the female driver on Facebook as Fictitious Phyllis and uploaded photos of the license plate. The driver was also quoted.
"My vehicle is registered to a trust. If you cite me for such, you will be entering into a contract with the trust," the driver said.
"Upon our short and sweet investigation, Phyllis was issued some citations and apparently we entered ourselves into a contract with a trust," police continued.
The license plate had stickers on it that said "DOT" and "2022." Valid registrations would have included a sticker with a month and year of renewal.
Recently, police in San Francisco found themselves in an unusual traffic stop when they pulled over a car that turned out to be a self-driving vehicle.

Have to stop people from stupid things or else they will make a career out of it.
In Chicago last week: “A Chicago man faces two felony gun charges after cops ran the license plate on his car — RUN THIS — and determined it was fake. Officers did run it . . . and learned that it was not registered.”
Should have used Cracker Jill stickers.
The way to get out of any tickets now is just identify as the stopping officers superior, suspend the ticket, reprimand the officer and place him/her/it on unpaid leave.
LOL the things people think they can get away with.
Soooo...because she’s a woman driver, it’s supposed to be “cute”? She should have her license suspended for 90 days.
Lived near some doktah that never put real plates on his Porsche or Cadillac. Kept the new dealer paper plates on for over two years. We moved so no idea if he ever changed them.
I guessed he want others to be envious of his “new” cars.
Something similar happened to my wife.
She got a ticket in the mail from the DMV for failing to pay the toll at a tollbooth in Tampa.
The picture was a fuzzy pic of a FAT GUY ON A MOTORCYCLE, and we haven’t been anywhere near Tampa in 30 years......................
LOL
I yam thinkin Robocop
You can play “Sovereign Citizen BINGO” over on the Donut Operator site.
Pretty funny.
Sov cit for sure. Had the magic incantation about “contract law.” prolly pulled out Black’s Law Dictionary, 1755 edition.
School police give tickets?
I went to court and plead guilty with an explanation.
The Judge appreciated my honesty and candor and fined me $5.00
The woman needed to put "sanctuary plates" on her car to drive freely about the invaded country. Any fines? Send them to the nearest Democrat.
I must have posted my question on the wrong thread.
Judging from the comments, that went under most people's radar.
It seems that schools are considering themselves more of an enforcement arm rather than just a political indoctrination arm of the new world order now.
