The Biden-Austin 'forever war' plan against Putin
World Net Daily ^ | 04/28/2022 | Patrick Buchanan

"Once war is forced upon us, there is no alternative than to apply every available means to bring it to a swift end. War's very object is victory – not prolonged indecision."

So said Gen. Douglas MacArthur in his April 1951 address to Congress after being fired by President Harry Truman as commander in chief in the Korean War.

And what is now America's goal with our massive infusion into the Ukraine war of new and heavier NATO weapons?

Said Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on his return from a Sunday meeting in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelensky:

The United States wants "to see Russia weakened to the point where it can't do things like invade Ukraine..."

War is peace.

US policy is to supply weapons as long as Ukrainians are willing to fight Russian invaders. Or they are driven back to Russia.

Russia’s forever war is create an Empire from Lisbon to Vladivostok.

US forever goal is to stop that from happening. Since it would allow Russia to dominate the entire world.

“Russia’s forever war is create an Empire from Lisbon to Vladivostok.”

Completely ridiculous and will never happen.
They can barely hold a couple pro Russia provinces.
Their demographics are not good, and demographics is destiny.

Since it would allow Russia to dominate the entire world.

I'm old enough to remember the Halfrican, the Euroweenies and the neocons mocking Russia because of the small size of its economy.

But now Russia is going to dominate the world?

I'm beginning to wonder what proof that the neokoolaid is.

Heck, it's only been a month since The JoeRon declared that "the ruble is rubble", nyuk-nyuk-nyukking before he had a diaper accident to finish the speech.

Actually, it’s to attack and annex until its armies are stopped, then take a break to recuperate and rearm. Rinse and repeat. I can’t say it’s unique to them. My impression is that outside of the West, that’s pretty much the reigning ideology. But Russia is obviously the present danger, so providing Ukraine with arms seems only prudent.

The US handed over an amount equivalent to 4% of its economy to Russia per year during WWII. The amount of aid to Ukraine, if it adds up to $100b this year, would be 0.4% of the $23T US economy. In other words, the US would be, relatively-speaking, providing 1/10 the aid to democratic Ukraine that it provided to Russian genocidaires during WWII.

A lot of people have things out of context.

First, Russia’s chief aim from day one is that the clock is ticking on manpower, with it being ‘now or never’ to attempt something like this. In 20 years, they simply won’t have the birthrate going and providing conscripts at this size.

The chief aim? Merely to recover the border countries (Ukraine, Romania, the Baltic states, Bulgaria) to protect against the ‘evil’ NATO.

A lot of this....is simply Putin and the inner circle believing their propaganda over the past two decades and that NATO is some aggressive thug organization that will threaten Russia.

Then you come to the old Soviet Union ‘drama’...that things were better when Moscow ran things. Thanks to TV propaganda over the years...probably one-third of Russians do believe in that attitude. The rest of the country just laughs, and notes that culture moved on.

I would end this and just note...Russia on GDP, is ranked number eleven in the world (between Canada and South Korea), and here in 2022....they will likely fall to number five to eight steps by the end of year (ranking somewhere near Turkey).

They don’t have the economy to carry out a six-month long war, take huge losses on military hardware, or be able to lose 40,000 men by the end of hostilities. There’s enough evidence now that over 100,000 IT/science background folks have exited the country (not intending to come back), and that number will only increase as the months go by.

It’s not a pleasant future...no matter how Putin arranges a ending.

I would be skeptical of that number - especially since ALL Russians are being "cancelled".

Those expats will find no welcome in the West - and they're not stupid, in STEM.

Couple that with Ol' ShizzPantz and his little speech today where he cr@pped his face gloating about seizing "ill-begotten gains" from "the bad guys" and Cornpopov.

Attainder has come to Canada and The United Third World of America.

Anybody sane would steer clear of these pinwheels-for-eyes tyrants in the West.

We saw this play out with the Canadian truckers.

You and I are on the wrong side of The Digital Curtain.

After all this time, I just can’t grasp what possible strategic interest the USA could have in Ukraine. Even the Germans and French had to be dragged into supporting war and sanctions on Russia and they are a lot closer than we are.

Thus, the ONLY reason for constant NATO prodding, color revolution, and corruption ties with Ukraine is SPECIFICALLY to surround and weaken Russia.

Around Georgia and Armenia....local folks there will talk excessively about the Russians who just appeared out of thin air in the past six weeks. Go look up Tbilisi and local news over past month. Hotels are mostly filled up presently.

I doubt if any of them had a plan ‘A’, and the job search thing will be curious to watch develop.

Under Putin, Russia is an implacably hostile power, hostile to the United States, and hostile to our allies. It makes perfect sense to help Ukraine weaken Russia by defeating her invasion of Ukraine. And no, it will not be a “forever war.” It will last only as long as Putin lives and remains in power.

I've seen suggestions that his successors view him as too moderate.

The neocon buffoon children made sure of their enmity with their little "Maximum Sanctions" campaign.

I'm impressed with the control of the Russian hierarchy.

I would already be taking heads.

What is wrong with a country where people don’t want to reproduce? What is wrong with people who seem to prefer that country while insulting the bathroom status of our leaders who don’t want to support such a regime’s vicious behavior?

Most westernized countries (since the early 1900s) have gone to a lower reproduction level (Russia isn’t alone).

But in Russia’s case....with the harsh death rate of WW II, serious alcoholism among men, and common use of birth control....things have reached this level.

Several folks have looked at the projections for the next couple of decades in Russia and said this time-period now....is the only window left to conduct an operation like this. They won’t have the manpower in thirty years to do something like this in a massive way.

As for changing the landscape...why? The cost of living is what pushes this along like it is.

I'm educated, and I've been on FR for a VERY long time [25 year anniversary last month].

I myself haven't had an "accident" for quite a few months now, LOL!

It's hell getting old!   winking face face with tears of joy face with tears of joy

Being an ancient freeper, I have access to more robust sources of information than your average bear.

When I saw the barrage of Russian hate coming down on the FR main board, I knew that it was time to search out reliable sources beyond the normal very accurate FR board.

There are very bad actors in the West - actors who were ENABLED by The 2020 Election Steal [which our valiant warrior Catherine Engelbrecht is currently revealing before the 2022 selections].

I am compelled to oppose these vile pieces of Mitt. As I have always done on FR.
