I am an ex-smoker and was over getting my hair cut.. In front of the smoke shop was a fairly new car I looked down inside and the ashtray was overflowing with cig butts..

The ban on menthol cigarettes will be as effective as Prohibition was in stopping the sale, manufacture and importation of intoxicating liquor. Look for widespread bootlegging, home made menthol cigarettes and organized crime stepping up to meet public demand. I’m certain the Mexican drug cartels will have another product to smuggle and sell in the US

It shouldn’t be long until they start keeping a count of how many carbohydrates a family consumes, how much liquor one buys, and how much red meat we consume so that they can ration such commodities to relieve the Govt run health care system.

I recall menthols being popular among blacks in the 80s. I switched over to Salem lights when I was in the Army because menthols didn’t seem as harsh on my lungs as Marlboros. I could still run. Marlboros made it hard to run. I actually rather enjoyed Salems.
Smokers can easily add menthol to their cigarettes or other tobacco products.
