I am an expert on bacon and I can say without any fear of contradiction that NO, no you are not turning seaweed into bacon. Just stop it with butchering the language and its meanings and continue to butcher live animals so we can eat them.
Why imitation bacon? Why not make fake tofu or fake beets or or fake chickens feet out of it? Bacon is sacred. Just leave it alone.
