That didn’t work either.
I’m trying some siracha barbecue sauce on the recommendation another Freeper. It was actually tabasco or ketchup that was recommended, but I was going to throw out this sauce. I figure it is pretty close.

If it is oxidation, try baking-soda and salt first.
Then vinegar and salt.
Then, again, warmed up or even boiled.
If it is something organic or “plastic-like” try fingernail polish remover.
Then try rubbing alcohol.
Then them them again warmed up (both are flammable so be careful).
Last, try 180grit sandpaper just enough to expose the design and value.
