I would have no use for any type of life coach, but definitely not some stranger coaching me online.

Life coach? Good grief. I always thought a “life coach” was called a father and a mother, grandparents, aunts and uncles, or a mentor.

It’s likely a lucrative gig for the British royal: BetterUp raised $300 million at a $4.7 billion valuation in October.

At the end of 2020, America's largest natural gas supplier, EQT, which supplied about 4% of the TOTAL energy used in the United States, had a valuation of $4 billion. At the same time, Facebook had a market cap of $1 Trillion.

I often feel America is increasingly an unserious country.

If they are upset about such trivial things as a sneaky 30% pay cut, at least they can talk to each other about it...they probably get a friends and family discount!

I recall seeing a resume on Twitter of a ditzy looking blonde chick, 23 years old with the current job of “Life Coach”.

Life coaches used to be mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, family, Pastor, Priest, Rabbi….
Culture has tossed out God and is grasping for straws. Sad.

It’s an old story... startup raises a bunch of capital on a questionable valuation... startup hires a bunch of talent on promises of big salaries... startup fails to actually turn a profit... startup decides to cut costs in order to stay alive a little longer, and the talent is the biggest cost they can cut.

They expect people to take the advice of a “life coach” from a man who married a woman with at least one, if not two personality disorders?

Update...

Mental health firm paying Prince Harry '£1m a year' branded 'toxic' by employees The firm employing Prince Harry let go of 100 staff recently in a bid to cut costs. Now former workers have accused the mental health firm of "toxicity".

And still wondering, even if the Heritage Foundation isn't, whether or not Harry is here on a visa that allows the Harkles to get out of paying income tax...

If it comes out that these two profligates are tax cheats...

Update, with something that should be of interest to DOGE. From last year, and just for starters...

BetterUp Inc. Partners with US Air Force for $99M of Leadership Coaching

And note this one from last month...

BetterUp Receives FedRAMP Authorization, Strengthening Commitment to Government Security and Compliance

How much taxpayer money is being given to the Harkles through BetterUp...
