On a happier note, in a goodwill gesture Will Smith has arranged for Chris Rock to have a cameo appearance as a gunfighter opposite Alec Balwin’s character. That undoes a lot of negative publicity between the two.
“I take the gun out... I turn and cock the gun, the gun goes off,” Baldwin tells the officers. “It’s supposed to be a cold gun—nothing. No flash, charges, nothing.”
Hmm.. there seems to be something missing. He cocks the gun, and it... what? Became uncocked?
Why isn’t this guy been charged? I can’t see any mitigating circumstance that avoids manslaughter.
So far he’s getting away with it.
