They have apparently no idea how difficult it is to build out something like this from scratch without using existing infrastructure (controlled by Big Tech).
Devin Nunes addressed the reason it it on iOS only for the time being. It is much easier to work out bugs and make improvements on a single platform as opposed to multiple platforms. They decided on a slow rollout on their own schedule so that they could deliver a consistently great user experience for those who were already on. That's why they had a waitlist. If they let everybody on at once, the system would have slowed to a crawl or crashed, giving the haters even more to crow about.
They are doing this right and now they are in position to quickly add millions more users.
You are describing the Beta instance correctly. Now that it’s out of that phase and has scaled to Rumble it will roll out to the web and Android. That’s been their stated design, development and implementation plan all along. We will see if it works for the platform.

Looks like it is headed that way soon. The switch over to the Rumble cloud is paving the way for that to happen.

If an issue is important to you, for whatever reason (curiousity is sufficient), do your won research. Find the raw, principle, first data - the stuff that everybody is spinning. Learn how to understand that (underlying) material, which is often papers filed in or issued by a court, or proposed legislation, EO, or similar.
This is time consuming work, so for everything else, just figure you are not well informed.
Same. Twitter is a much different style of social platform than Facebook. Many joined Twitter and almost never used the platform. I’m one of them.
Truth Social is far more appealing and user friendly.

You make good points. I have worked on the startup of major computer systems back in my working years and making sure the system works in beta version is so important.

Same here, must have been lost in the shuffle. I went into my browser and looked for “Truth Social Login” and re-registered.
Start from scratch, will ask you a question,” Why do you want to use T/S”. It will tell you to wait for an approval. I was approved in a day. Then you are in.
Twitter won’t be an echo chamber if Musk gains control, that’s the point.
I know there’s fake accounts, but there’s far more users already on the platform.
The important thing is to wake up people in the middle and people easily swayed.
You and I don’t need convincing.
Why is there this assumption that Truth Social is a competitor to Twittter???
They’re not the same style social media platform.
It’s like saying Musk is buying Pinterest, therefore, Facebook will become obsolete.
