Lansing — The Michigan Court of Appeals rejected Thursday a lawsuit led by Republican attorney general hopeful Matt DePerno that attempted to challenge the 2020 election results in Antrim County.
In a 3-0 ruling, the court's panel of judges said the suit made no allegations to support the idea that "purported irregularities in Antrim County 'might have affected the outcome' of the presidential election." Likewise, the panel denied the argument that Antrim County resident William Bailey, DePerno's client, was entitled to an audit of the election there.
"The statutory language does not allow private citizens to conduct independent audits, and we are not permitted to read words into the plain language of a statute," the Court of Appeals panel wrote in its unanimous decision. Matt DePerno
But DePerno vowed Thursday to take the matter to the Michigan Supreme Court.
The ruling came two days before the Michigan Republican Party's Saturday convention in Grand Rapids. There, GOP delegates will endorse a candidate for attorney general, and DePerno is running against former state House Speaker Tom Leonard of DeWitt and state Rep. Ryan Berman of Commerce Township.
DePerno has made his litigation involving Antrim County a focus of his campaign. He's been endorsed by former President Donald Trump, who lost the 2020 presidential election to Democrat Joe Biden.

*sigh*
We have got to stop nominating MORONS on GOP tickets.
Been ignoring the recent True The Vote stuff, I see...
I think Antrim is where one of the sausages leaked while they were making it.
Antrim County - Ireland
Anterim County - Michigan
People are so stupid these days

Maybe I’m unaware of something? [happens all the time, but I’m continuing my edumacation daily]
The subject above is ANTRIM COUNTY.
Are you like DePerno an audit denier?
It’s the most thorough explanation of exactly what happened in ANTRIM COUNTY Michigan last election and done by a universally recognized expert in the field.
Talk to the Hand, vote fraud denier.
I think he's trolling.
What motivates these Brandon Media shills to deny open and notorious vote fraud?
My bad, it is Antrim. Could have swore I remember it being Anterim but that was two years ago
Anything could have happened to Anterim in the interim.
It's pretty clear after this month's revelations that "Dirty Josey" was part of the Michigan vote fraud machinery, and any "exspurts" defending her side of the discussion are just engaged in stoogery for the chief Soros stooge.
I read the forensic report from Antrim. Damning.
But I have long since come to the conclusion that the fix is in all through the FBI, DOJ, every court system, the entire Democrat Congress and a large majority of the Republican Congress.
If it was written by a stooge it should be trivial for anyone to debunk, even DePerno. :-)
Excerpted from 14th Amendment:
"Section 2: Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced [emphases added] in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State." [Section 2: Apportionment of Representatives]"Section 5: The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
In fact, if judges are obstructing section 2, they arguably need to be removed from bench under Section 3 of 14A imo.
"Section 3: No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same [emphases added], or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."
Corrections, insights welcome.
And speaking of voting issues, patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.
Again, insights welcome.
"The statutory language does not allow private citizens to conduct independent audits, and we are not permitted to read words into the plain language of a statute"Ah yes, leftist judges who find textualism... when convenient.
That state was so corrupt last election. Just watch the committee that Jenna Ellis and Rudy spoke to.
Why waste anyone's time reading the gaseous emissions of a SorosStooge?
