Pollster On DeSantis: ‘He Will Not Run If Donald Trump Runs — End Of Story’
Chicks On The Right ^ | 4/23/2022 | Staff

The liberal media is accused of trying to start a rivalry between President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which doesn’t actually exist.

The two political figures are extremely popular among conservatives and supportive of each other. Trump previously endorsed DeSantis’ run for governor.

DeSantis has also said the rivalry is something manufactured by the liberal media.

Pollster Richard Baris is setting the record straight by shutting down the idea of a rivalry between them.

Baris explained DeSantis “will not run if Donald Trump runs” because DeSantis believes the election was stolen from President Trump. As a result, Trump belongs in the White House and DeSantis wouldn’t stand in his way.

Trump has agreed with this comment by claiming that Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, and Ron DeSantis would step aside if he did run for the party nomination in 2024. “If I ran, I can’t imagine they’d want to run,” Trump said. “Some out of loyalty would have had a hard time running.”

“I think that most of those people, and almost every name you mentioned, is there because of me,” Trump said specifically about DeSantis. “In some cases, because I backed them and endorsed them.”

“You know Ron was at 3 percent, and the day I endorsed him, he won the race.” When asked if he is responsible for “making DeSantis,” Trump responded, “As soon as I endorsed him, the race was over.”

Trump currently leads potential Republican rivals by sizable majorities in most polls. He has repeatedly hinted that he will run again in 2024.

Pollster Baris confirmed the same information coming from DeSantis’ side.

“I got texts from people in Trump orbit and DeSantis orbit. What the f***,” Baris said. “This is exactly what they are talking about. Telling him to look him dead in the eye because he feels this election was stolen Let me just tell you, let me just make this clear for everybody.”

“So, if Trump does run again… it is not even so much the loyalty to Donald Trump, it’s the fact that he believes this election was stolen from Trump.”

“So, if Trump wants to come and take it back it’s his to take back. I understand there are a lot of loyal DeSantis people out there but I am not doing it.”

“Neither one of them want me to do it. They just think it’s trouble-making. So, I’m telling you he looked dead in the eye and said if he runs I will not run. He told everybody…at his damn cabinet was at that event. The lieutenant governor was at the event sitting two feet away and everybody heard it. He will not run if Donald Trump runs. End of story.“

In a new interview, President Donald Trump suggests there is only one thing that could stop him in 2024 — his health.

“I don’t want to comment on running,” Trump said, “but I think a lot of people are going to be very happy by my decision.”

“Because it’s a little boring now,” the 75-year-old President noted. Trump explained that his health would factor into his final decision on whether to run.

“You always have to talk about health,” he explained. “You look like you’re in good health, but tomorrow, you get a letter from a doctor saying come see me again.”

Heard some psychic guy on the radio a month or so ago predict that the Republican ticket will be Trump and DeSantis and they will win.

Psychic guy may be a weirdo, but the ticket sounds perfectly logical to me. Followed by 8 years of DeSantis. We may get our country back.

I have been stating this fact in just this manner on various threads here to people pushing for Desantis to run in 2024.
Gotta wonder about those Freeper’s motivations.

He needs to learn the job alongside Trump as his VP. By job I don’t mean how to manage or govern. Trump has skills and qualities that go way beyond.

This is what I have been saying, Trump was robbed, the election was stolen and Trump is the ONLY one who deserves to be elected POTUS.

Their motivations are that they believe he has Trump’s positives without his negatives.

Ive always said that I’d vote Trump again, but my preference would be Desantis. If we had a Trump-Desantis ticket, I could get majorly enthused about that!! We need to start bridging the gap between both camps and get a fusion ticket of them two! 🙏

DeSantis is more valuable as FL Gov than as VP. Short of PDJT dying in office, there would be no reason for DeSantis to be there imo.

“Trump has skills and qualities that go way beyond.”

So does DeSantis.

I hope Mike Pence runs, and has to drop out after the first primary because NO ONE votes for him.

I’ve always suspected this would be the case, Trump is so far ahead in the polls for the Republican primary, the only reason someone would bother to run would be for exposure. DeSantis already has plenty of that and can afford to wait.

DeSantis will let Trump win the presidency a third time.

But, DeSantis will be the default vice-president. Nobody will question that decision. And, DeSantis will continue most of what Trump sets up in his agenda.

There is no rivalry, since both of them think like most conservatives.

Imagine the presidential debates with Trump and Pence on the same stage.

The one possible reason would be he could run on Trump’s legacy in 2028. He will have a lot of national exposure by then, not just to the party faithful, and should be a smoother transition as Trump’s successor.. The problem is if Trump ends up picking a RINO swamp creature like Pence, he will be under pressure not to endorse someone else. But if GOP voters do nominate someone else it would be a refutation of Trump. Trump needs to be very careful who he picks this time.

Nope. The best ticket is DeSantis/Trump. Yes, DJT as Veep. He makes the pres assassination proof and will revel in traveling the world telling the elitists where to stuff it.

I voted for the Donald twice. However He is not the man for us in 2024:
Too old
Proven he can be beaten (cheated whatever)
Picks too many RHINOs for top positions
And the main argument I have is…

due to 4 years of unremitting lies and accusations by the MSM/Big Tech the middle of the road low info voters despise Trump. They will never vote for him so why battle uphill from the start?

I will push for Desantis or Paul for that matter. I will also vote for Trump as a defensive vote versus a closeted Marxist like sleepy joe. if he wins the primaries.
