Who knew that consuming massive amounts of sugar made you fat?

And that not consuming them would mean weight loss.

It must be rocket science, it’s so complicated.

Artificial sweeteners are not good for you however. I’ll take real sugar from the sweet sweet sugar plant over those.

Don’t believe what the experts said yesterday. Believe what the experts say today and be prepared to believe the opposite tomorrow. Same goes for coffee and eggs.

Another benefit of tap water is that it only costs a fraction of what you pay for artificially flavored sugar free drinks.

Kroger’s knockoff of Crystal Light peach tea is $2 for a container that makes 3 gallons. (6 sleeves that make a 1/2 gallon each). More expensive than water, but not a budget buster.

Before sugar farming was invented, fat people were treated like royalty.

Water, exactly. I gave up soda, and also gave up about 20 pounds from it. From 192 to 173 lbs.

Water is delicious when infused with a plain lemon.
You gotta watch the carbs from the plain lemon, however.

Lemon juice is about the only fruit juice that it Keto. About 6 carbs for a medium lemon but loaded with vitamins.

I buy lemon juice and squirt a little bit into my bottled water.

I never saw my Great Aunt drink anything but TAB Cola in all the years I knew her, and she made it to 103. In fact, we use to joke that all chemicals in it must have acted like a preservative on her body.

For those that never drank TAB Cola (not sure if they even make it anymore). It was truly disgusting even by the standards of other diet soft drinks, it even tasted like chemicals. One of the last diet drinks that still used saccharin up until the mid 1980's. I remember my Aunt got highly annoyed when they finally changed it from saccharin to Nutrasweet, claiming it ruined the flavor

Tap water is worse for you than sugar. Make it filtered water.

Agreed. Glad this study was finally released. Trust the science!!!

Long ago, Dr Mercola would elaborate on the details, but the Cult of Medicine shut him down.

That too. Best to kick the cola habit. Unsweetened tea drinks can be refreshing. But I’m good with just coffee and water these days.
