Go ahead and give him an Oscar already. After all, Johnny Depps best performance is also probably his last.

Half his testimony yesterday was about his oxycodone addition and drying out and doing rehab on his private carribean island. His vernacular slipped periodically into a fake low Brit accent but was for the most part measured and clearly stated like he was not high or drunk.

He started the testimony speaking very slowly but warmed up and was more coherent towards the end. The years of physical abuse have fried his brain. He needs to win this lawsuit to get back his career in his estimation.

As far as I’m concerned, a pox on both their houses.

He should go all in and raise her a parlor, extra bedroom and a Jacuzzi.

Depp always wanted to be part of an underground music scene and when he started making a ton of money, he’d give it away on stupid things - buying deserted islands and airplanes like some 1970’s rock god. He fell in with an unsavory, liquor’d up music crowd like Shane McGowan and Gibby Haynes - throwing his money away on drugs and 1,000 dollar bottles of wine. To be fair though, he gives away a lot of money to sick kids too - good heart but a hard core alcoholic.

He should stop before he dies like his mentor, Hunter S Thompson

I was impressed with his skills in identifying various sources of scat.

Edward Albee was gay. "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe" was originally written as story about a gay couple. Hence, the reason they had to settle for an imaginary son. Mainstream producers thought the play would do better with a hetero couple, as a gay couple was too shocking for early 1960s Broadway or Hollywood. So they made Albee change the characters to a hetero couple. But without changing much of the dialog or story.

That's an urban legend. Yes, Albee was gay, but the story was never meant to be about gay guys. The imaginary son would be ludicrous if a man played Martha and talked about "giving birth". Yes, what a shock it would be to find out at the end that two men can't produce a child. / s

Because Albee was known to be gay (he was very "out" about it), lots of people read a gay subtext into the play that was not there. Remembering Edward Albee: The champion of gay rights - If a person completely ignorant of Albee reads his works, can he detect the 'perfume of homosexuality'?

BOTH are creepy, BOTH are dysfunctional, BOTH are abusive in their own way, BOTH are guilty, and finally BOTH are really stupid airing their dirty laundry in public.

This is made to be important by the “believe all women” crowd. Haven’t you heard? Women are not at fault for anything. Nada.

Depp mentioned he left for L.A. at 19, I think it was, to start his own band.

The testimony is wild coming out of this case, and I just have to wonder if this is all for making billions. He’s currently being sued by a crew member on film for assault.

I think he is a good guy at heart, but after seeing and hearing him on that video of him getting those child-killers out, there’s something very dark about him as well.

I think you need to “sell your soul” to be this Hollywood rich and this Hollywood famous
