The next weekend, I saw Lord Jim, with Peter O'Toole, James Mason, Eli Wallach, and Jack Hawkins.
That began a life long romance with great films, or more accurately, great stories.
Depp looks dirty and creepy.
Mainstream producers thought the play would do better with a hetero couple, as a gay couple was too shocking for early 1960s Broadway or Hollywood.
So they made Albee change the characters to a hetero couple. But without changing much of the dialog or story.
The whole thing is weird. Why is the trial in Virginia?
It almost looks like a TV show. Depp rambles for hours, like he’s awkward and humble.
Heard looks like the wicked queen in Snow White. One suit she wore made her look like IIse Koch. It’s like they are both playing roles, and it’s bringing in billions to the networks.

I think she was likely worse than he was - but they’re both off the wall type of personalities just from thir interviews.
I listened - and yes that’s how he talks normally when doing interviews.
Heard is also in the opening scenes of the original Zombieland film as Jesse Eisenberg's neighbor.
From memory, she looked very nice then, too, at least until she morphed into a zombie.

I think she definitely has some issues, but so does Depp. He used his HW influence to get three child killers out of jail with an Alford Plea. He made reference to assassination with Trump. When he did those things he didn’t sound like he does on the stand now.
I don’t think either of them are relatable human beings in their present form. I wish Depp had stayed with Vanessa Paradis.
