Conservatives must go on offense.
The reason we conservatives constantly put out liberal brush fires is because we don't think the way liberals think.
What conservative could possibly think up drag queen story hour for second graders? Or teaching transexuality in math textbooks and at Disney World? Or creating anti-white racism in board rooms, technology, medicine, science, entertainment, and the military? Or pedophilia in storybooks for kindergartners? Or getting rid of law enforcement? Or inventing pronouns to call attention to their own sex? We conservatives think in terms of God, family, merit, hard work, decency, service, sacrifice, obeying the law, and delayed gratification. We believe that the cream should rise to the top and the scum should fall to the bottom. We believe that bad behavior isn't a "disorder." And we believe that only women can give birth. We call it reality.
We conservatives are always surprised at the next liberal outrage, wringing our hands, crying foul, and being predictably and tediously shocked, shocked. But we are learning fast even though it is hard thinking in a foreign language you cannot speak. We have learned that we cannot wait for the next assault before we go on offense. Ron DeSantis (Obi Ron) is teaching the country how to do this. He just had the Florida Department of Education reject 54 out of 132 math textbooks for overtly indoctrinating students into transexuality and homosexuality. The Department said the rejected textbooks were found to be "impermissible with either Florida's new standards or contained prohibited topics," including critical race theory. We can thank Obi Ron for the new standards. That is how it is done.

Why would someone pay to be treated like this?
Something I’ve noticed since the Regan days. When the Dems get control it’s all about change and upheaval, when the Repubs are in power the Dems fight and sow dissent (under Trump it actually got close to revolution if you recall).
When the Repubs get in power all they seem to want to do is placate and relax. I’ve never seen this worse than when Ryan, Boehner and Company were in charge. IMO
Its what conservative always do and why the Left wins almost all the culture issues/debates.

We need to take the offensive and give them back the same as they dish out.
Put THEM on the defensive and let THEM defend their tyrannical, immoral policies.

The republicans are scared to death of the media, and for good reason. Any republican with the brass ones to act like a democrat and go on the offensive is attacked by a broad spectrum media onslaught... and they don’t forget either. You stick your neck out as a republican, and they keep swinging the axe for months and years down the road.
Ever since watergate, these people are not just biased “journalists” drunk on their power of influence, they have had decades of top down organizational-control, recruiting, grooming, and networking with powerful democrats. Remember when Limbaugh would often play montages of media members across the spectrum all uttering the exact same phrase that would be impossible to be a coincidence? There are no coincidences.
DeSantis is smart. Rather than show them that he can be culled and herded, like most republicans are, he shows defiance at every turn. Though that makes him more of a target, he is already one of the top targets, and it actually disheartens the media conspirators to some degree.
I want him as POTUS.
This sounds smart and sophisticated, but is really mindless. Good maintains good, if it is already there. The left has a thousand ways to create evil. We cannot predict which of those thousand way the left will take. Once they choose an evil way it by definition our response is defensive.
Yes, Ron DeSantis is doing some good, but all his actions have been defensive. Don’t confuse defensive as being bad. The offensive culture will not win in the end.
And other repubs will slink back into the shadows rather than defend their own side. Or worse, they will get on the wrong side and condemn their fellow repub so they themselves don't end up under attack.
Conservatives apologize too much; demand apologies too little.

I’m offensive. Just about all the time, in fact. It hasn’t won me many friends on the Right.
One thing I’ve noticed, however - haha, gonna have to use some euphemistic type speech, here:
A female can tell if a Right-winger wants to exploit her because everyone will start telling her to “act like a lady” and so on. You’re supposed to femme it up and talk in a weird, chirpy voice. Give lots of lip service to nicey-nice things and, well, that pretty much neutralizes you with regard to how much damage you can do to the Left. (But you’re not GOING to fight the Left, Miss Southern Lady! You’re going to be a model of propriety and stay at home, maybe writing a little column about gardening for your local newspaper. You don’t want to disgrace the Right, do you?)
Wanting to be tight with the Right, you (a gal) start femming it up and by the next time CPAC rolls around, you are “a Southern lady” wearing crinolines and exchanging recipes with other neutralized chicks who want to gain approval with conservative men.
But then you happen to glance over at a peculiar screeching noise and you notice a certain group of gals who, unlike you, haven’t changed or even been exhorted to change: In fact, over the years they get louder, more in-your-face, wear more outrageously skimpy outfits, get cosmetic surgery, engage in destructive gossip about other women, brag about sexual conquests to the approval of “conservative” males, and basically act like strippers on the loose while you have to make sure to sip your champagne carefully and quietly, wearing those little lacy white gloves that make you a “lady.”
Whose daddy dearest owns a publishing company?
"I don't like it when you talk like this!"
"You are so unpleasant."
"I don't like Trump's mean tweets."
"You don't have to stoop to their level!"
"You are no better than they are."
"I don't want to think about that right now."
These women (mostly women, some men certainly) think that no matter what outrages the left continues to perpetuate, the ONLY concern they really show is that a conservative should be "mean" about it. I cannot escape the conclusion that their self identity as conservatives is hypocritical. To them I quote the first president of Pilsbury Baptist College, Dr. Monk Parker,
"Ya can't fight without fightin'!"
I guess the point was that we need to be more resolute in speaking out.
We have too much a tendency to just roll over and be nice and being nice is killing us.

Yeah, they can’t stop one-upping each other long enough to try to figure out a way to disrupt the Left’s play.
To describe today’s Left to someone new to the game, one is necessarily forced to use rude and vulgar terminology. To participate in the game, one is forced to fight. Fighting is never pretty. The Left are used to fighting and they’ve had more practice. They’re less likely to turn on each other. Collectivism - forged in unity and conformity!
The ones I really like are those who deny, in very loud and forceful terms, that there is - for example - something really wrong with the public education system. “You can’t be talking about MY CHILD’S SCHOOL! You’re making this up!” (Let’s face it, a lot of these “I live in a perfect world, too bad about you, you’re just seeing bad things because you’re lost in SIN!” types, as you correctly observe, are fakes. They know how to sabotage the Right and make us turn on each other. Insisting on ladylike behavior is one way they do it, a la Alinsky: “Force your enemy to play by his own rules.”)
Don’t underestimate the power of Daddy Dearest’s publishing company, however. This year’s gamey-smelling, bucktoothed, loudmouthed chick at CPAC is next year’s “conservative warrioress” using a made-up name and asking for money - and getting it - because, haha, “My book sales” seems to eclipse conservative principles a lot of the time.
And the gal who gets used as a sort of pin-up champion for the Right, or at least that’s what she’s being pimped as - er, because she got blackmailed into it when someone found out she cheated on her husband at CPAC.
Gab used to be a setting where this phenomenon could be studied in great detail. Yes, a lot of conservatives won’t go on gab because of the insane nastiness. I agree: It’s way too nasty for me, even. But a lot of fake “conservative warriors” are generated there and the Right ends up taking more damage than the Left.
Conservatives don’t really do offense. It’s right there in the name, they are “conserving” something, which is inherently a defensive posture. It’s baked into the identity.
And try to be “Democrat Lite.”
If Chuck Schumer were to propose legislation executing every white male in America, Mitch McConnell would likely come back with a compromise.
