Let's drill down a bit in the data collected by the National Center for Health Statistics, comparing "deaths involving COVID" (as recorded on official death certificates by local physicians and/or hospitals and as reported to the NCHS by each state health department) for the nine months of the pandemic, beginning in April and continuing through December, for both 2020 and 2021. Let's further break out the data by the youngest age cohorts.

For the 0-17 year-old cohort: 192 COVID deaths in 2020 / 489 COVID deaths in 2021. This is an increase of 155%.

For the 18-29 year-old cohort: 1,438 COVID deaths in 2020 / 3,221 COVID deaths in 2021. This is an increase of 124%.

For the 30-39 year-old cohort: 4,125 COVID deaths in 2020 / 9,577 COVID deaths in 2021. This is an increase of 132%.

For the 40-49 year-old cohort: 10,981 COVID deaths in 2020 / 20,841 COVID deaths in 2021. This is an increase of 90%.

Again, these are the total deaths recorded and reported for the months of April through December for both 2020 and 2021. That time frame has been chosen here in order to provide for an apples-to-apples comparison (e.g., comparing COVID deaths in March 2020, when the pandemic was just getting started, to such deaths in March 2021 would give anomalous results, as would, of course, comparing the months of January and February).

Make of these data what you will, but on their face they indicate that there were more -- indeed, considerably more -- deaths involving COVID in those below the age of 50 in the U.S. in April through December of 2021 compared to that same time frame in 2020. What might possibly explain this increase? What was different in 2021 compared to 2020?

The numbers cited are labeled "COVID" deaths. Many of the vaxx deaths did not carry a "COVID" label nor were they attributed to vaxx side effects. That's why using the "all cause" numbers give a better estimate when measured against long term actuarial expectations.

The mortality numbers are bad enough. The morbidity driven by the vaxx has taken a huge number of people out of the workforce. The effects are evident at stores and restaurants who can't hire enough employees to operate a full time schedule. Airlines have trouble staffing to operate a full service schedule (not to mention parts shortages keeping planes grounded).

I suppose that getting a bit more granular with the data may shed some insight that might possibly help with the foregoing questions.

Let's look at the COVID death figures on a monthly basis for, say, the 30-39 year-old cohort. What do we see?

What we see is that "deaths involving COVID" were actually down in April 2021 compared to April 2020. Down 45%, in fact. The other months?

May 2021: COVID deaths were down 6%, compared to May 2020.

June 2021: COVID deaths were down 33%, compared to June 2020.

July 2021: COVID deaths were down 29%, compared to July 2020.

August 2021: COVID deaths were up 445%, compared to August 2020. Oh. That's not a typo. 445%

September 2021: COVID deaths were up 980%, compared to September 2020.

October 2021: COVID deaths were up 495%, compared to October 2020.

November 2021: COVID deaths were up 99%, compared to November 2020.

December 2021: COVID deaths were up 48%, compared to December 2020.

We see a similar pattern in the 40-49 year-old cohort. I won't go through all those month-to-months numbers for that group, except to note that COVID deaths were down for that age cohort in April, May, June, and July of 2021, compared to those same months in 2020 (i.e., anywhere between a 17% and 47% decrease), and then, starting in August 2021, COVID deaths increased 289%, compared to August 2020. In September 2021? An increase of 776%, compared to September 2020. You get the idea.

So, what happened starting in August 2021 to bring this rather dramatic turnaround?
