The numbers cited are labeled "COVID" deaths. Many of the vaxx deaths did not carry a "COVID" label nor were they attributed to vaxx side effects. That's why using the "all cause" numbers give a better estimate when measured against long term actuarial expectations.

The mortality numbers are bad enough. The morbidity driven by the vaxx has taken a huge number of people out of the workforce. The effects are evident at stores and restaurants who can't hire enough employees to operate a full time schedule. Airlines have trouble staffing to operate a full service schedule (not to mention parts shortages keeping planes grounded).

I agree. And the "all cause" mortality figures for these same time frames, looking at the percentage increase in "expected deaths" (i.e., which, in the NCHS data, is compared against a baseline calculated on the basis of the average of the deaths taking place in the years 2017, 2018, 2019) is indeed quite interesting. But I'm afraid that some may be missing an equally important point: COVID deaths themselves also increased in 2021, in the younger age cohorts, compared to 2020.

I suppose I have to paint a picture: nobody was vaxxed in 2020. Millions (including, increasingly, those in the under-age-50 group) were vaxxed in 2021. If these vaccines (as is said) "reduce death from COVID," then why, um, did deaths from COVID increase in the younger age cohorts?

The point being, there are multiple things going on here, none of them good, apparently.
