Thank you, so much. The least I can do is “Google these names”.
Thanks. I did a search on Brave (Google? No, thanks.) for Denis Kireev.
There are conflicting reports, but the most common one seems to be that he was accused of being a double agent. He had been involved in the first round of negotiations with Russia. UKR sources are saying he was a double agent, a spy, a traitor. He is dead. Some hits say he was executed. A few say he was killed during arrest.
The only Elena Berezhnaya I could find is a Russian figure skater (age 44) who, along with her partner won Olympic medals. She is now retired from skating.
I found this on an online petition put up by “In Defense of Communism”:
I/We strongly condemn the arrest of the First Secretary of the Leninist Communist Youth of Ukraine Mikhail Kononovich and his brother, Aleksander, by Ukrainian authorities. According to the latest available information, Mikhail and Alexander Kononovich have been subjected to violence by Ukrainian police authorities and are currently imprisoned in pre-trial detention center in Kiev.
From Wikipedia- Nestor Shufrych:
In November 2017 Shufrych joined (the political party) For life.[9]
Shufrych was re-elected, placed 7th on the party list of Opposition Platform — For Life this time, in the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election.[10]
On 18 February 2022, during a panel show, Shufrych was physically assaulted and put into a headlock by journalist Yuriy Butusov [uk], after he refused to condemn Vladimir Putin’s actions in Donbass and Crimea.[11] This brawl was on live television and was broadcast all around the world.
On the 4 March 2022, Shufrych was arrested for allegedly providing the invading Russian military with locations and other intel about the defending Ukrainian army during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine
