Apples and oranges, CDY. Trolls come on here for attention, and there are those who reward them with what they crave. In addition to feeding that need for attention, those sparring with them clog up the thread.
NO ignoring trolls is the best.
Dozens and dozens of skippable posts generated here the last time a certain repeat offender came in.
I generally refrain from commenting on the subject but the whole process will repeat over and over until bravado to “defend the thread” is cast aside, to be wisely replaced with Dont Feed the Trolls.
