“Did Alex Jones-Infowars Declare Bankruptcy? The Answer Is No” – Alex Jones Releases Video Statement Following News of Chapter 11 Filings

The mainstream media today reported that three companies connected to far-right radio host Alex Jones filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy amid lawsuits related to false claims about the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting.

The mainstream elites have been targeting Alex Jones and Infowars for years now. Their allies in Big Tech also targeted Alex Jones and colluded to take him off their platforms on the same day back in August 2018.

On Monday Alex Jones released a response to today’s media attacks. Alex Jones vows he will not let the corporate media win.

Alex Jones: When you see these headlines out there, “Did Alex Jones-Infowars declare bankruptcy?” The answer is no. The bankruptcy from my affiliate companies is designed to pay all of my creditors in full. Alex Jones, yours truly, gave up all rights to his membership interest to a debtors’ bankruptcy to a trust created to hold that interest to backstop payments and claims. Number 4: I am confident the federal system has the tools and experience to fairly deal with the restoration of these claims. The corporate media and these individuals know that we do not have all this money. The plan is to try to get judgments giant and large that can’t be paid so they can close our doors here and try to keep me from being on the air elsewhere which they are not going to be able to do… That said my fate is tied to your fate.

Alex Jones told The Gateway Pundit tonight he needs everyone’s support and prayers.

Alex also released a new video. Here is the video.

Just a little correction to the one-sided MSM stories posted here yesterday and the day before that gave RINOs and other squishes the opportunity to virtue signal to those who would have us in internment camps.

The left’s censorship/cancel tactics are despicable.

But so was Alex Jone’s treatment of the Sandy Hook episode.

Alex really killed his credibility. And sometimes he seems to actually have decent information. But you can’t tell what might be valid, what is speculative and what is “entertaiment” and completely false.

We have enough true and false conspiracies without more fake conspiracies being added to the mix.

Where are you getting your information on what he said?

It sounds like the mainstream media, who lie about everything.

I was a listener when Sandy Hook happened. The narrative the leftist lawfare firms and the mainstream media have propagated virtually unopposed is literally 180 degrees out of step with reality. He spent very little time on Sandy Hook. Yes, he had guests on his show that pointed out anomalies and gave their theories. But that was about it. He did not buy their theories, but agreed that there were anomalies in the media coverage. There were no 'despicable' tactics employed. There was no effort to "make money off Sandy Hook", as alleged in these lawsuits.

The law firm that created these suits is the same one that put Remington out of business.

The judge in this case declared Alex and Infowars guilty, because, although they provided all documents requested, none of the concerned "marketing the Sandy Hook tragedy" as claimed by the scumbag lawyers, and must therefore be incomplete.

Wake up! If they can do this to Alex, they can do it to anyone, including whatever media you turn to.

There was SO MUCH strange stuff about Sandy Hook.

Up to and including the incredible number of “Sandy Hook Parents” who seemed to be able to show up everywhere there was a gun control public hearing, anywhere in the country.

There was (and is) reason to be suspicious.

No there wasn’t.

“Up to and including the incredible number of “Sandy Hook Parents” who seemed to be able to show up everywhere”

When you kids get murdered, it tends to radicalize the parents. Is that hard to understand?

yes there was.

Go look up some of the actual facts.

There were many more ‘sandy hook parents’ who apparently had nothing better to do than show up all over the country, going to gun-control hearings, than possible.

“The mainstream elites have been targeting Alex Jones and Infowars for years now.”

~~~
I belief that the Bret O’Keef character on the Homeland series was most directly inspired by Alex Jones, and they did not intend for him to appear sympathetic either.
That season came out right at the time of the 2016 election, and they producers clearly thought Hillary would win, because the show centered around a newly elected female president, and she had to tangle with crazy right wing militia nuts and conspirators. This is the head space that the deep state was getting into heavily at the time, and the producers of that show you could tell were tied into it. There was a lot of talk and plot about Russian meddling too, and those episodes were produced before the election you could tell because obviously they were wrong (like so many others) about Hillary winning.
Sorry for the tangent.
From stuff posted on Freerepublic. "Yes, he had guests on his show that pointed out anomalies and gave their theories. But that was about it. He did not buy their theories, but agreed that there were anomalies in the media coverage."
Well here is video of him claiming it was a hoax, not guest but him.
Alex Jones on Sandy Hook
Now I realize that link goes to mediamatters, but it's a recording of an Infowars broadcast. It's clear Alex Jones bought that it was a hoax. Or I believe Alex said in response to one of the lawsuits, something to the effect of it's not news it's entertainment.
The same people walking in circles doing nothing. Going in one door out of another over and over. I call that very strange.
The father laughing right before going in front of the camera. Very strange.
Oh I’m sorry... you need me to look up things for you? you dont have facts to support your OWN position?
You believed... THE MEDIA???
Alex Jones actually put forth ACTUAL FACTS... some of his speculations from those facts got him into trouble. but go look at them and then tell me nothing seems weird about this.
We know for a fact they stage events- look at ‘fast and furious’ where they sent guns to Mexico to try to cause violence so they could implement gun control.
Well, I realize that if you look closely at the rather fuzzy clip, you can see that it is from December of 2014; 2 whole years after Sandy Hook occurred. Which kind of supports the other thing I said: "He spent very little time on Sandy Hook."
I mean, this is the best clip the well-funded free speech monitors at Media Matters could find, and it was him responding to a caller who claimed to have heard things locally that made him think Sandy Hook was a hoax, 2 years after the fact.
And, since when is it a crime to think something is a hoax? Do you really want to live in country where people can't question mainstream media narratives?
And are you okay with the fact that the Sandy Hook lawfare firm put Remington out of business?
Or I believe Alex said in response to one of the lawsuits, something to the effect of it's not news it's entertainment.
Aaaaaaand he's back to regurgitating the MSM disinfo talking points. That was in his divorce case when his wife's lawyers played video of him in a satirical piece dressed as the Joker, claiming that made him an unfit parent. Not in the Sandy Hook kangaroo court.
If you really are just a "concerned conservative", you might want to check out sources other than the MSM or Media Matters. Maybe, I don't know, check out the actual source for their side of the story?
Naaaahhhh! Too much work, and it doesn't gain you an unearned sense of moral superiority.
“put forth ACTUAL FACTS... some of his speculations”
Wait, so was it facts, or speculation? How do you know the difference?
“Oh I’m sorry... you need me to look up things for you?”
You are the one claiming facts, I call BS. Put up or please shut up. Alex Jones is a drunk idiot, and embarrassment, and anyone who follows or trusts him is a fool.
Yes it is, if it causes you to only attack the first and second amendment rights of others, with no focus on other factors that had more to do with the crime in question.
Because that makes you jerk who is just exploiting the murder of their own kids for political and/or financial gain, riding their corpses to glory in a phony mainstream media virtue-signaling parade.
Normal decent people don't do that, even when tragedy strikes.
Stop making excuses!
It's up to a jury to decide if Alex Jones defamed the parents At best, by claiming it was a hoax, Alex indirectly claimed the parents were liars. I don't know if he said anything more directly. And yes, I'm too lazy to find out.
"To prevail in a defamation lawsuit, a plaintiff must prove that the defendant made a false and defamatory statement about the plaintiff that was communicated to a third party. Thus a false and objectionable statement sent in an e-mail to the plaintiff’s co-worker may be libelous. The plaintiff can usually succeed by showing the communication was either intentional or at least negligent."
If it really was a hoax, Alex should be able to prove his case in court.
"Along with establishing all of the regular elements of the tort, a plaintiff who is a public figure must also show that the defendant knew the false statement was false, or at least acted with reckless disregard as to its truthfulness. Newspapers may escape liability for libel when they merely report false statements as long as the paper had no particular reason to doubt the statement at the time it was printed.
At the very least, Alex needs to be able to prove he didn't act with "reckless disregard" for the truth.
As far as Remington, I read reports that their bankruptcy was more due to mismanagement and becoming debt heavy, and not so much the Sandy Hook lawsuit.
