Journalism used to operate on who, what, where, when, why and how. Today, news stories are scattered stream of consciousness that may or ay not include any of the above. The stories are also usually written by 2, 3, or even 4 people.

Sixty stab wounds says it’s a crime of passion. Her body was stuffed into her son’s hockey duffle bag. Her son supposedly slept through the entire ordeal. The figure on the survalance film looks to be only twice as tall as the duffle bag. The body was in plain sight from the side walk. All of which leads me to believe that the son killed his mother.

So I ask the question, how many people could this be? If it’s false lead, it can be easily verified. It it is a real lead, the criminal is incredibly stupid.
Is this a deliberately confusing headline meant to get people to read the article to make sense of what the story is? Murdered Mom from Queens Stabbed 60 Times and Husband Received Text from Killer … would be how I would write it. I was thinking of royalty Queens when I read the headline.
And just like that Nancy Grace has months worth of show fodder.

As for trying to estimate the relative height of the perpetrator to the length of the duffel in poor-quality video, that's just ridiculous. You know nothing about the 13-year-old. Is he tall, short, heavy, slim? You don't know.

As usual, nothing adds up, every detail conflicts with something. She told her son she was going to a show. The video is 4:30 am. Also said she was going to meet a man. Doesn’t sound like that would be someone she put in jail. If it was, he had to leave evidence in her house at the crime his DNA would be on file, they have to know who it is already. If she did say she was meeting someone, her cell records would give all that info. Nothing adds ups as usual.
I think you’re correct. Interesting, my daughter and I were about two blocks away having ice cream at Eddie’s Sweet Shop on Saturday. Saw NYPD around the hiway, lot of CSUs.
