I am not commenting on my opinion on her upcoming suicide just on her need to be the dramatic center of attention.
If one is going to commit suicide one does not need to get people emotionally wrapped into it.

I knew a man who was suffering unbearably from cancer. He went out to an isolated spot on his farm with two guns, in case one failed.
He didn’t advertise it, and didn’t leave a mess for anyone to clean up.
I never judged him. But I wonder about someone who wants to tell the world about it.
