DENVER (KDVR) — A couple in the Baker neighborhood of Denver woke up last Sunday morning to find five of the seven bikes in their garage missing, along with lots of camping gear.
Vanden Dries said one of the other stolen bikes belonged to her boyfriend, and the fifth belonged to a friend.

I have 3 bikes, total value ~$4,000.
Italian steel does not come cheap.
The other 2 are Trek. Very good bikes.

There is a ton of development on bike frames. They are, in fact, developing injected molded plastic bike frames. They are also creating injected molded aluminum frames to remove welding from the process.

That is almost identical to the Peugeot A08 that I’ve had since 1973. Mine has painted forks with no chrome, and an Alpine chainring.

I have a carbon Wilier full Campy race bike. Older model. Record is not electronic. 40 mil rims. $5000 is about right give or take.
Any serious carbon race bike starts around 8 and goes up from there.
There are some made of bamboo as well.
DPD doesn’t give a crap about property crimes. Unless it happens to one of their own.
I bet someone (probably colorado) has tried a hemp fiber frame.
