Oh goodness..pizza porn.....almost as bad as gun porn. Lol!
There is no one best pizza.
Different slices for different tastes, and different slices depending on the day.
Which is why a variety of local joints is a big advantage.
I wonder how many sprang for a $750 tasting menu for four. A pizza tasting menu? Well Una Pizza Napoletana’s dough is “naturally leavened! For me, good ol’ Ray’s reigns supreme. Its gooey, cheesy, messy $3.50 slice laughs at pricier, pretentious mutations.

$3.50 pizza or $750 pizza. A tale of two cities.
Place your dried oregano in the sauce and let it marinate overnight to bring out the oregano flavor.
food is relative. in NYC, good food is very hard to come by for a reasonable price.
$3/slice is absurd ... but the starving man thinks its amazing.
Food in Florida is subject to high levels of competition (except tourist locations). As such, the food has to be as good, if not better than, the competition or locals will not show up... which will kill the business.
New Mexico (local places only, no national chains) has three types of pizza restaurants. Pretentious, dives, and a local chain. I prefer the dives. Two one location only places are Giovanni’s, which is near the Southeast Heights war zone and has been rated top 20 nationally, and Trailrider which for years was located in a single wide trailer next to Molly’s Bar in Tijeras.
Visually it looks like crap. Crust it too thin. And where are the toppings?
I like best with just the gooey cheese. Yum
Scarr’s on Orchard St has been my go-to lately.
Excellent taste and not too pricey ... like $4.

What grade did Dave Portnoy give them?
For me to get NYC pizza, I have to drive by New Haven
So why bother?
best pie i ever got was at the Manhattan side ferry terminal and it was 24hrs a day... for a buck
I make my own pizza. If I had the money, I would open my own pizza shop. It would be a destination spot for the Northwest.
My sister and I came out of a Broadway show in around 11:00 p.m. one night in 2011 and we were ravenous. We each got a slice at the Ray’s right off Times Square and it really did hit the spot.
Glad to hear it
