Frank Langella, who was cast to play the lead in Netflix's limited series “The Fall of the House of Usher” has been fired from the show amid a misconduct investigation that came after a sexual harassment allegation.
According to Deadline, sources confirmed that the investigation determined Langella had been involved in unacceptable conduct on set. Earlier this week, TMZ reported that the 84-year-old Oscar-nominated actor allegedly made inappropriate comments to a female co-star.
Langella was set to play Roderick Usher in the series. Additional cast members include Carla Gugino, Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly and Mark Hamill.
The eight-episode series is based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe. The cast will continue filming as Langella's part is now being recast.

He would’ve been a great Roderick Usher.
The guy is real hard up. He actually had sexual relations with the vomitus Whoopie Goldberg. A Japanese blowup doll would be more appetizing than a member of The View (shudder).
If this “allegedly” happened and their is an ongoing investigation why is he already being fired. Girls (yeah I said it) say stuff all the time that isn’t true.
The first clue that this guy was “off” was that he once dated Whoopi Goldberg.

He was likely shouting curse words at the clouds! Don’t think an 84 year old is chasing tail. He may be telling the gay mafia members of sag to esad or other more colorful statements!

I am not so sure. Eliza Dushku filed and won a sexual harassment lawsuit against the show Bull. She hasn’t had any acting work since 2017. She seem getting an old fashioned shunning.

Daily Mail just ran an excerpt of his ‘tell all’ book......of mostly celebrities who are dead now and can’t defend themselves...
He goes for the jugular on them.....all weakness exposed
...but also exposes himself as an aggressive lothario who was received ...even begged according to him.....to fill the lonely nights of Rita Hayworth and other assorted actresses....
He comes across as a jerk!
So I have no sympathy for him......84 or not
